SemperFid:Ah toh I fear oo you were losing points due to selecting the wrong educational qualifications be that. As I said before OD falls in the second to the last option masters/professional degree requiring license to practice. |

1. There is no official comms from Ontario to this effect, through draws haven’t happened in weeks now. 2. There has never been anything like “conversion of study permit to PR” so that news is greatly misleading. That pathway never existed. Don’t be misled by rubbish blogs. Every international student/graduate will apply for PR the same way everyone else does. eniola1010: |

Hello, my express entry CEC application got denied. I am not sure what I did wrong. I am a software developer in calgary and the responsibilities listed on my reference letter is attached. I also attached the reason for my refusal by ircc. I am not sure if i used the wrong NOC code as i used 21232. PLEASE HELP!!!

abimbola12345A:First, looks like IRCC mentioned that your letter did not have your employment dates. Seems minor, but this is one way to verify you have the years of experience claimed. Did your letter have your employment dates? Second, were the 3 bullet points the only duties mentioned in your letter? Compare the duties in your letter to 21232 again (in the screenshot). How many of the 7 bullet points in 21232 are covered in your letter?

GraciousWords:Thank you so much. Yes the three bullet points were all that were mentioned as my responsibilities. my reference letter also included a breakdown of my time spent in the company

abimbola12345A:Do you think the 3 bullet points cover most of the duties in the NOC you chose? How many of the 7 bullet points in 21232 screenshot are covered in your letter? Maybe that wasn't the right NOC OR your employer didn't include all the duties you perform. CEC draws are happening quite frequently so I'd say jump back in the pool. Page 1 post 3 has a guide to choosing your NOC. |

GraciousWords:Thank you so much. I think 21234 is also a closely related NOC. |

Feeders:100% advisable You left 3 points on the table with 7 (CLB 9) in Writing, a 7.5 (CLB 10) would give you 3 more CRS points. Your other scores were perfect! Your spouse left 6 points on the table with 6.5 in reading and writing (CLB 8 ) and a 7.5 in Listening (CLB 8 ). She needs LRWS 8777 (CLB 9) to get max CRS points for spouse IELTS. As a doctor, I'm assuming you used MCC for your ECA and chose professional degree (same CRS as Masters). Would also advise you study page 1 in detail. Goodluck! |

thank you everyone for your contribution, my medical degree is also same as a master's. I also have a master's degree in public health but i didn't add it to my profile which other certificate can I get? My wife has Bsc in Estate management, which extra certificate can she get? |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Ontarioo: 10:56pm On Nov 20, 2024 |
Feeders:For you, a PhD. Adding a second certificate for your wife will only add a point (1) to your CRS score. You can confirm this using the CRS tools. There's a 6points left in the language test for your wife and a 3 points for you. |
