Yes. It's the same thing. But what I'm confused about now is here. Where does this OD fall? I think it is pretty much the professional cert that requires a license. Before now I have selected the option that says bachelor's degree of 3 years or more.

Damn.. I can't believe I am just beginning to take a closer look at all of these.

Ah toh I fear oo you were losing points due to selecting the wrong educational qualifications be that. As I said before OD falls in the second to the last option masters/professional degree requiring license to practice.

I didn't do anything o, simply time and chance thanks to Baba God wey run am. Actually got PNP 4 times for Alberta and BC in the space of 1 year. In a tech related role though. The last one went all the way thankfully.

U will select oversea or diaspora
There is a finger print document u will download
Go to whs or tesco buy an ink pad
Do the finger print urself
And upload the doc back on possap website
Then after a week
Nigerian police will send ur downladable police clearance to you

So u dont need all these embassy stuff u mentiones

If you haven't gotten the police clearance certificate, you can contact me. I did mine few months ago and I'm in the UK too.

Add a second certificate if your highest is only a first degree. (You can reach out to me for a quick second certificate you can complete between a month or two. Or do a search)
Retake your language test or add a second language.
Pray for provincial nomination.

Hello, my express entry CEC application got denied. I am not sure what I did wrong. I am a software developer in calgary and the responsibilities listed on my reference letter is attached. I also attached the reason for my refusal by ircc. I am not sure if i used the wrong NOC code as i used 21232. PLEASE HELP!!!

First, looks like IRCC mentioned that your letter did not have your employment dates. Seems minor, but this is one way to verify you have the years of experience claimed. Did your letter have your employment dates?

Second, were the 3 bullet points the only duties mentioned in your letter?

Compare the duties in your letter to 21232 again (in the screenshot). How many of the 7 bullet points in 21232 are covered in your letter?

Thank you so much. Yes the three bullet points were all that were mentioned as my responsibilities. my reference letter also included a breakdown of my time spent in the company

How many of the 7 bullet points in 21232 screenshot are covered in your letter?

Maybe that wasn't the right NOC OR your employer didn't include all the duties you perform.

CEC draws are happening quite frequently so I'd say jump back in the pool. Page 1 post 3 has a guide to choosing your NOC.
