Sometime this year, I subscribed for 1 terabyte (1024 GB) of MTN mobile data, valid for 1 year. I have 4 MTN lines both for work, personal lines, and 2 wireless mifi; I simply transfer data from my main line (where I did the subscription) to other lines. This makes it easier and convenient for me.

Unfortunately, about 6 months later, without warning or notice, MTN restricted me to just 10 data transfers in a month. If I did 3GB transfers 10 times, I'm done for the month! This is not only inconvenient, but its all shade of wrong as this was not part of the terms when I bought the data. How do they expect me to keep buying data for other lines when I already bought 1TB for the year!

I'm really angry and sad at the same time, I want to port my lines to Airtel or even 9mobile. I know Airtel also have the 1TB data package, I would like to know if subscribers can share the data. If MTN does not reverse this anti-customer policy of 10 transfers a month, I'll have no other options but to port.

Any advices that might be of help will be appreciated.

MTN are scammers. Same thing I am facing right now.

You better stick to the glo no network will allow you share data even up to 3 gig talk less of allowing you share data for 10times in a month

But only glo
If you share data on glo it forever till the data finish
Because if you share data on glo it will allow you use the same data

If instant if you have 50gig on glo and you share to the other glo you both will use the 50gig finish if you renew automatically the both sim will have data

I think Glo has the best sharing formula. Just add the glo number you wish to share your data with and you are done. No need to specify what amount of data. As long as the parent line has data on it, the shared line will always have access to same data. Very simple

I shared data with my office glo router 😂
Have been using it since last year make I no get data I go browse 😂
