Yes, I used a different email address on a different device. The ds160 form was the same.

anytime from two days after the visa has been approved, i did interview on Monday and picked up my passport today. You can check the status of your passport on this site https://appointment.oisservices.com/ and book pickup appointment also on the site if its ready for pickup.

Yes, you do. Take as many as possible. But I guess it's 4 copies they usually request for.

The email I got "reminding" me that my passport is ready for collection at OIS in Lagos says that I can come collect at my convenience for free till December 31, 2024. But I chose to pay ($30, if I remember correctly) for this premium service in the process of scheduling my appointment. I am collecting by proxy.

Someone kindly and urgently advise. Can I safely follow the email and come get it at anytime for free or still book an appointment/prepare to pay?

Yes we picked a date from the calendar. If it’s showing next year it’s likely you are for physical appointments. We checked on Wednesday (20/11/2024) and saw dates from Thursday (21/11/2024).

Please my mum had an interview waiver appointment on the old portal for December 2024. However, we did not print the letter before migration to this new system. After she was migrated in October, we observed the appointment had been changed to August 2024 which she had already missed and it appears the appointment was a physical one at the consulate.

Does anyone know how we can reschedule to an IW interview. When I try to reschedule, it only shows dates for next year and even when I select these dates, it keeps giving an error message.

I would really appreciate help here.

Pls who knows what to select to pick IW appointment. A friend fills for her dad but ended up doing in person interview. They had to cancel and paid a fresh fee.

Actually, everyone (whether for drop box renewal or regular appointment) schedules the appointment, following the same pattern. But whether it would eventually be an IW, is a function of the info provided, in the course of scheduling the appointment. So while scheduling, if your mom is qualifies for an IW, she would receive an IW confirmation letter on her profile. However, if doesn't receive one, then she may just proceed with the regualr one.

Pls good people, I have been able to book an appointment via the Avits portal for drop off (Interview waiver) for the 26th of November, 2024 but on getting to the ois website, there is no date available for drop off on the 26th but on the 29th of November, 2024. Can i go ahead and drop off the passport on the 26th as stated in the IW letter or go ahead and book the 29th per the ois website so that i can drop off? Please i need your input, thanks

There are actually dates on the consulate calendar as at yesterday (Friday) because I went through the process and after responding to all the questions, it took me directly to the Interview waiver section and I picked Tuesday the 26th which is less than a week.

Ps: I didnt click on the waiver option because in my head it is a settled thought that I was going in for a regualr appointment, I clicked on the blanket option for the annotation and answered all the questions normally and it still took me to the IW section .........This thing is just unpredictable sometimes......

I am actually qualified for IW for (b1/b2) which is a non-immigrant visa, however I am applying for another non-immigrant visa that is different b1/b2, so I thought to myself that because it is another type of non-immigrant visa, I would be going for a physical interview. Lets see how it goes.......
