Chaiii!!! See people am sharing Country with. Sorry for even engaging you.
Little wonder retards voted for Buhari and Tinubu.
Indeed a million i.diots is a political party.
Stop dodging the question. Is that NOT an achievement??

You're probably drunk on IMF/World Bank orthodoxy, but I can pretend to accept that.

In the context of Nigeria's very complex and delicate geopolitics, any leader who would improve taxation and cut subsidies HAS to be one known to be frugal, prudent, EVIDENTLY NATIONALISTIC, serious minded (not owambe-wish), and acceptable across regional/tribal lines. The last president who I think achieved this effortlessly was Aremu Olusegun Obasanjo.

Lets get something clear. Your tiffnumboo's biggest legitimacy crisis isn't even because he obviously corrupted himself into the presidency against the wish of MAJORITY of Nigerians. The main problem is that he stole his way into power only to foist a disgusting Yoruba agenda that is offensive to the other 5 geopolitical regions in Nigeria for the first time in history. This bastard cannot be tolerated. He cannot purport to implement any reforms. Him and his useless reforms are doomed from the start.

Lets assume that your Bretton Woods poison can potentially work, it can only be administered by a president that Nigerians accept, and one that his lifestyle and choices reflect seriousness, prudence, nationalism and genuineness of intentions.

End.
Don’t debate with that Mumu boy.

You are far more intelligent than he is. He shouldn’t pull you to his level.

He is a dullard like tinubu.

Like all agbadorians, when they write, you’ll know they don’t have sense.

Can you guys be honest FOR ONCE??!

Can you deny that a whole sprawling industry of BDC's and abokis everywhere changing money has disappeared? No more having to check AbokiFx and online to guess the rate!

Is that not an achievement by itself regardless of what else is happening??!!
shut up there… you are still talking.
Do you even have money to change to dollars? How will you know they still exist , you useless church rat , supporting a useless government that has impoverished you.

I actually do run forex and they used to cheat me all the time, either through exchange rate or counting tricks. All that have now disappeared. I simply tap a few strokes on the app.
Whether you like it or not, that's an achievement!

You are kidding, right? How many people did aboki used to rip off on exchange rate or miscounting? Now you simply use an app and know you're getting the right rate without calling around or checking internet.
AFCON puts nothing on the average Nigerian's table.
So how many average people did Abokis rip off their dollars? To me, it is Tinubu who actually ripped us off our dollars with his woeful exchange rates; not Binance or Aboki. You can do the math yourself.

Many, many people are affected by that Aboki surcharge because they just pass that extra cost to you, the consumers. I know this guy who was a multimillionaire changing dollars. Tinubu put him out of business, and where do you think all that money saved goes??

CBN has replaced Aboki Fx and others by trading on the rate they were using, I still maintain it didn't yield any meaningful output for the manufacturers bringing in raw materials, Aboki rate was even cheaper compared to Tinubu rate

For NOW you can't see it - but future generations will. All the monies that used to make money changers and subsidy thieves billionaires will flow into the common purse. Also, people won't even think of being cheated in exchange rate or money counting at the corner

To Tinubu personal bank account of course. Abi where is the money right now? Oh I forgot. He used it to buy rice to serve you and your family because me and my family didn't get any rice o.

😆😅 You are funny. Future generations will feel that money. This is a one-time suffering that needed to happen. It's part of what will make Nigeria affluent in the future, especially if corruption and govt wastage is reduced a bit

Why do you believe politicians like this? Oh, probably you are still young and naive. Any 30 years upward that still believe that any politician in Nigeria is for the interest of this country is the perfect definition of gullibility. I like the last part of your speech though. But there is no sign that corruption and govt wastage is being reduced at all. Rather it is increasing and will keep increasing. The only thing that can make me trust a politician 1% is if the politician is in support of immediate killing of corrupt politicians and government officials. Once they pass the bill for that and sign it and then have like 5 to 10 politicians killed instantly that way, then I can start believing them. But for now I believe none of them.

They are in the clear now because millei took decisions that if tinubu took them , tinubu would be removed by coup.

As it is, Argentina did protest against Millei severely. There were large protests in the streets and people complained of hardship.

It's just now they are seeing the benefits.

Nigeria? The government still waste money on subsides and still borrows to avoid taxing the majority who don't pay taxes, and to avoid regulating the mining industry and so forth. Fuel subsidy went because the money literally ran out.
millei and tinubu are NOT in the same class

Millei is a libetarian that hates big government, while your tinubu governs like a socialist, a huge fan of big government and large taxes.

Millei cut out government waste, what has tinubu cut out apart from subsidy which we are still paying low key grin

Rest!

Oga go and sleep

No future generation will see anything. grin

Your microscopic progress on the fake subsidy removal and silly black market reforms has already been greatly offset by the large scale borrowing of tinubu

It is not a matter of believing politicians, it is a matter of simple arithmetic - all that money saved from subsidies and bdc's EVENTUALLY has to go into the common purse

Common purse grin cheesy
I just confirmed that you are less than 30 years. The only common purse here is the presidential and senators common purse. They will squander it as usual grin

😅 Not true. Remember that, while this is a one-time suffering that people will adjust to, the benefits are FOREVER AND EVER!

If Nigeria gets better than how Buhari left it within Tpains regime,I will personally apologize and deactivate my naira land account after giving you my salary of one month. You can open a nairaland thread for this challenge.

I never guaranteed the benefits will be seen in your lifetime. I specifically said future generations!
That's the BIG difference between developed and underdeveloped. They'd start expensive projects that'd be completed in 60 years (when they'd all be dead and won't be around to enjoy it!). Underdeveloped will never even think of doing such, even if oil money is flowing everywhere. Can you imagine ANY Lagos govt starting to dig tunnels for trains that'd be completed in 60 years to take Lagos traffic underground? NEVER!
