Talk to a Builder to prepare bill of Estimate for you. It will to show quantity of different building materials needed with cost of each and workmanship or labour cost. This will serve as a guide as to how much you will spend on foundation. They can prepare another one for you for construction to lintel level etcetera etcetera.

Do not deceive yourself. N2m is definitely insufficient and you know it.
Also, you said it was a flat...which means it may have a suspended floor. Buy better iron do your foundation ooo; that's the most important part of any building...not fancy windows and doors

Yes. It can't roof it. And he even said he has granites, rods and some other things. So 2m will do it with plenty change. And labor is cheaper in Lagos too

Just the foundation right... Not likely, because you still need blocks and cement. I don't know the type of sand you have too so you might need to increase that amount a little to be on the safe side.

It will largely depend on the area u want to build, on the average for a 2 bedroom foundation it should be enough even in the present economy except the terrain is really bad.

Yes it can. I finished my 3 bedroom foundation with roughly 1.3m at foundation level.

I bought 1000 blocks which is 500k @500 per one and I bought 18 cement @ 9k each and I bought water tank 20k, then sand and granite both at 300k plus and I paid bricklayer 120k

My land is a solid ground I don't know how much someone building in a swampy area will spend.

I did 3 bedroom foundation, 2 room and parlour selfcontain foundation and 2 shops at the front.

I don't think I spent up to 2M for all.

My land is at ikorodu.

I attached the picture of the 2 room and parlour selfcontain. The bricklayer will finish working on the 3 bedroom today hopefully I will attached it tomorrow.

So OP your money can do if your land is a solid ground.

Let us do wrough analysis. An average 2bedroom flat should be about 90to 100 linear meter.
Let use 100 meters. U need 200 block to make this 100 meter so if ur foundation is 5 coaches you will be needing 1000 block which is #600,000 in my area.
U need 13 bags of cement to lay that amount of blocks =#130,000
Bricklayer #120 per block= 120,000.
Sand 25 cubic = 120,000
Granite about 500,000
Excavation of foundation 90,000
Blinding of foundation cement 15bags =#150k
Labour 30k
Doc 30 to 40 bags of cement 350k
Labour 80k
Total of 2.14million
Filling of the foundation befor casting is not included .
If u can manage the money well it will go along way.

We did a 2-bedroom in 2022 and the foundation cost N3.4m.
But this relative as your structural engineer will need to do some evaluations for you (type of soil, its topography, number of people that will traverse the building per time, etc).

Yeah, with people like you, 10m will not even finish it

Your information is incomplete and it will impossible to give you an accurate answer

Information about topography and the soil strength ( what type of soil) is missing and those two will help

For example

The topography will determine what will be the height of the foundation and the height will determine the trips of filling sand you will need for the foundation

2. The soil type will determine the kind and strength of foundation you need, either a two board (24inches) raft foundation or more/less

Complete the missing information then I can help you out
