Nigerian girl weeps uncontrollably over the coldness of a warehouse she works in the UK.

I just saw this video of a young lady who is at a warehouse job here in uk. This is one of the hardest jobs you can do to make money, pay bills and support your family.

This video broke me.

Never give up, darling. Put your best foot forward, and don't be afraid to show your emotions. It's okay to cry and feel sad when faced with challenges. I remember my own experience when I first moved to the Middle East, specifically Qatar. It wasn't easy , the extreme temperatures, language barriers, and cultural adjustments were overwhelming. But I persevered, pushed through, and today I'm grateful for not giving up.

I picked parcels at DHL, also packed bananas and pineapples at Fyffes Bananas before moving to psychology roles during my student days. I was humbled when I got paired on shifts with a female Indian Paediatrician who also came to the UK through the study route. As we both packed pineapples and bananas, she shared how she worked in a big Paediatric facility back in India but decided making the move to the UK with her husband and kids was the best decision. Today, she works at Great Ormond Street Hospital London, that is one of the top five children’s hospitals in the world while I now work for a London borough as a Clinical Practitioner for the Children social care.

Many Africans run mad over there.
It is not by force come back home or only go there during their summer. December and January cold has not yet arrived so imagine this one crying everyday, how long before she take off her cloths and enter the proverbial market?

They should be a "japa exchange program" where people like these can come back home for more hungry and mentally prepared immigrants like me to replace her.

Now you can see what many Fathers & Boyfriends did for years to put Foods on the table for you, yet one mother/ girlfriend was never appreciative in same UK with no recourse to Father's/Boyfriend's mental health.
Those are jobs men have been doing for years.
You just attempted it and you're weeping.

She is probably a rich woman here that has never done these types of low jobs so it might not even be the cold that is making her cry

I remember those days @ DSW shoe warehouse in Franconia-Springfield Virginia, the last stop on the redline, Kai winter no easy o, who never experience old man winter, no go know.

We are still in November & she is already wailing? Make end of January, the beginning of February reach.

Just like someone stated earlier, it may not necessarily be the cold that's causing her the tears but seeing herself doing something lower which she feels is beneath her status back in her country.
It's just a transition job and the experience should keep you humble because there's really nothing special about you, so when things get better for you and you see people in those kind of situation, you treat them with respect and kindness realizing it could have been your situation.

There are many Nigerians, Africans, Indians etc with degrees in various fields who are stuck in those “transition jobs” in the UK, and never make it to the point of working in the fields they studied, largely because of racism.

It’s generally easier to progress in the medical field because there are not many whites eager to work in that sector.

How some people record themselves crying is still beating my imagination. For local urchiins I understand but a sane human being crying in front of camera is too much to phantom.

Make she go stock up on thermal underwear & extra thermal leggings and socks wey everyone dey wear for here. Wear 2 or 3 layers under your regular clothes and you will even sleep inside the snow and not feel it that much. She go even love the job after learning how to layer well.
