What are you saying, how many oil companies operating in the two states compare to likes of delta, bayelsea, Akwa ibom and almighty rivers. Anambra is home to businesses, trading and manufacturing so it will have higher VAT to Abia and imo with very few oil companies in the two various states. During my youth service in Calabar then, there were oil companies there too and they may have many than Imo and Abia states. Ondo produces oil too, how many oil companies are there.

I recently paid vat of over 1.7m in Rivers. I am from the east.

There is no prosperity in the South East, reason why they all prefer to migrate to other regions to make it

How on earth could Abuja airport surpassed Lagos Airport in term of traffic ? where exactly is the statistics that showed that ? anyone that know how populous and industrious Lagos is in Nigeria will know it's impossible, unless Lagos become less Industrious or Abuja come close to Lagos in terms of industrial capacity and population it can never happen.

The margin would've been much greater if SS is allowed to place vat on all hydrocarbons exported from their land.

Imagine placing 2% VAT on every barrel of crude drilled and exported from the oil rich SS.

Wonderful news. I want the south eastern dot states to line up and take the last positions in these types of statistics.

How can we struggle to make money and then give half to the government to share some with other states/regions and they go ahead to loot the remaining.

I keep telling fellow igbos, whenever any of these useless statistics that involve IGR, TAX, REVENUE come up abeg, let us clap our hands for the southwest them. Igbos are okay with the sit at home. They have more days off as weekends and still take home the same salary as their counterparts from other regions, plus, they pay very low/no tax
