My phone screen settings is in dark mode, other apps are in dark mode except Nairaland.

I mean eye care settings...that changes the bright white/blue light to brown

Setting>>Display>>Eye comfort>>>Adaptive or custom...(choose custom)

You'll be able to reduce the blue light completely to a brown very low light use interphase

Choose dark theme on your browser.

We have experimented with dark mode but it didn't look nice to us.

That option should be open to individual users to decide which one they prefer...many applications already have that options.

If you're using Chrome, you can visit chrome://flags/ to enable "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents"

(By the way, love how Nairaland appears on dark mode...)

The other textscolors have to blend with the background dark color, so make you need to get a designer to give the right color combination

I think you should roll out the dark mode let members decide. Nairaland is a forum not a video app like TikTok. We spend enough time on screen reading posts. This white background is really hurting. You can do better . Thanks
