jobgbemi:This is where the differences is. Some families don't earn up to 40k in a month. I mean families with 5,6 or more mouths to feed. It's a reality. And yet someone is afraid to go into it with a salary of 200k. |

People day get married with 50K, you day talk 200K. However it depends on you and your wife to be, what's your plan for the family? - how much will you spend monthly on food - how much will be saved - what do you plan to do aside your job, or if suddenly retrenched (God forbid) - how long until you want a baby And a host of many important things, OP life no joke, so plan and stir your family in the path of peace, highly necessary. |

Honestly, it really depends on where you live and what kind of lifestyle you're planning. If you're in a city with a high cost of living, 200k might feel tight, especially if you're factoring in rent, bills, and other expenses. But if you're more flexible with things like the wedding or living arrangements, it’s definitely doable. My friends who’ve been in a similar situation found that budgeting and keeping an eye on savings made it work. As long as you're planning ahead and not stretching too thin, you should be fine. |

jobgbemi:In this economy, your priority remains marriage. ![]() Are you somehow blind to the wave of suffering that is currently occurring in that same country? Or do you somehow think that even with 133 million people projected to be in the direct path of the suffering coming next, you will somehow not be affected by any of it? Why do Nigerians pretend they are islands to themselves? ![]() |
