The Finnish foreign minister was part of a delegation of Nordic foreign ministers that visited Nigeria in August. Nigerian journalists besieged her to find out what Finland was doing about Simon Ekpa.

She said that the Finnish Government was taking action on his case and that the matter was before the courts.

Nothing to study there: It is dollars at work! He has big money sponsors and that made it possible to recruit hardened criminals back home to do the field work of terror by putting fear in people. These foot soldiers are well paid mercenaries.

I am in total support of the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu because the Nigerian government has failed to successfully establish a case against him. Holding him in prison is a breach on his fundamental human right and an act of injustice against the Igbos.
Finally , I am in support of the arrest of Simon Ekpa. He has to answer for the violence and killings he sponsored and encouraged in the South East. If proven guilty by any court of competent jurisdiction, he should face the consequences of his actions.
