Nigerian girl weeps uncontrollably over the coldness of a warehouse she works in the UK.

OurFavOnlineDoc
Thats not a coldstore or cold warehouse. It's an ambient warehouse and probably temperature should be between 12-15°C. If you see coldstore she won't be dressed like this, and can't leave her hair open. The boxes I see behind her are not chilled as well

Wish she could read this. I've got two of these long johns and I can say without a doubt that they saved my life more than once.
I no dey play with my longjohns at all. Even when it is below zero here, I still love to go outside — 3 layers of thermals underneath clothing as armor — and get some sun. grin

Ever since I discovered this, my life changed. I stopped hating the cold altogether and started looking for opportunities to enjoy myself all year round. I even bike during snow storms thanks to my long johns and I have had the same set since 2017. If you buy very good quality thermals they last a very long time. grin grin

People do this nonsense for views. undecided

- She has a job that likely pays all her bills and gives her plenty of cash to have fun with. And she lives in a decent place, even if it's in the hood.
- The UK might be the only country where you can walk into a grocery store and find prime rib marked down to ONE pound.
- She's probably wearing a bunch of thermal clothing, and faking. If not, thermal clothing is affordable and easily acquired in the UK.
- She's probably getting her ***** beat up by some brolic co-worker on the regular. They probably both laughed in the car 15 minutes after she posted this.

Make she go stock up on thermal underwear & extra thermal leggings and socks wey everyone dey wear for here. Wear 2 or 3 layers under your regular clothes and you will even sleep inside the snow and not feel it that much. She go even love the job after learning how to layer well. grin
Exactly, niggars are working -40° as oil rig-hands in Alberta, na men still sey shovel snow on a daily after blizard. She's just not prepared to survive abroad, it's still a rude shock for her cheesy. N/B come as a survivalist & come wit OT. If you gona work in warehouse go prepared, get a forklift license & save ur ass the hardwork.

Great Ormond Street Hospital London, that is one of the top five children’s hospitals in the world:

just dey exaggerate for there. we never hear of this hospital grin
Are you in health sector?
A paediatrician?
You are forgiven but if you are, it's quite shameful you don't know that hospital.

It's a dream hospital for many from around the world.

Typical arrogant idiot. Because you made it, you think it’s easy for everyone else.

There are many Nigerians, Africans, Indians etc with degrees in various fields who are stuck in those “transition jobs” in the UK, and never make it to the point of working in the fields they studied, largely because of racism.

It’s generally easier to progress in the medical field because there are not many whites eager to work in that sector.
Just like him, You made very valid points but without any provocation from him, do yo need to insult him, to make your point?
People judge us by how we present ourselves but l am sure you are well raised and this outburst is an anomaly.

Attention-seeking, was she forced to take up the job?

She should sit down at home, no be by force to do warehouse job as it is a deal-breaker for her.

Such jobs should be seen as transition jobs as you find your feet in the UK.

Many went through that same route in their early days. Recording yourself cry and broadcast on social media, is for what purpose?

I picked parcels at DHL, also packed bananas and pineapples at Fyffes Bananas before moving to psychology roles during my student days. I was humbled when I got paired on shifts with a female Indian Paediatrician who also came to the UK through the study route. As we both packed pineapples and bananas, she shared how she worked in a big Paediatric facility back in India but decided making the move to the UK with her husband and kids was the best decision. Today, she works at Great Ormond Street Hospital London, that is one of the top five children’s hospitals in the world while I now work for a London borough as a Clinical Practitioner for the Children social care.
You even have time to explain about the attention seeker. She should pack and return back to Nigeria. If the employer's see that video she will be fired....is everything content?

i am not sure the sense in this. obodo oyibo is not naija where people will have outpouring of sympathy and enter donation olympics on your matter. what she has done is announce to warehouse management and other employers that she is not cut out for working with them. no one wants a worker who will have emotional breakdown on the job

Not entirely true at all. Longjohns have been unisex since as far back as the 80s or even 70s when more and more women went into work factory and warehouse jobs. grin

People that cry like her have regrets. Probably left a well paying job in Nigeria to japa only to see herself doing work she would not even appreciate others for in the past. If you are already struggling and have to struggle more, you wont have such regrets. That is why we tell those doing well...look before you leap, cos japa will test your mental health. Things you do not know about will start becoming a thing.

- Mental Health
- Lack of Sleep
- Hallucinations
- Migraines and Headaches

Most of these i had no clue about them in Nigeria
very valid point
