This is what I keep telling ikwerre illiterates, writting your name in your dialects is allowed, it doesn't mean you have created a different ethnicity, you can see Wechie there. After all Imo people write Okpara as Opara. But they don't claim it's a different ethnic name.
The name "Chidimma" is a popular Igbo name but Nsukka people can decide to put in their dialect, it becomes Chidioyi, Abakaleke people can decide to go for their dialect and it becomes Chidiure. This is what ikwerre people do and claim to be a different ethnicity
