Reducing Nigerians Purchasing Power, President Tinubu Achieving His Goals by Jagabanbattle(op):
To those who are yet to understand the truth of the hardship in Nigeria, I will say the truth the way it is.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu believe is that balancing Demand/Supply is quite necessary to turn things around in Nigeria. This is not a rocket science but Economics.

HOW DOES PRESIDENT TINUBU PLAN TO GET THIS DONE?

There are two major ways to balance the trade deficit Nigeria face every year for over a decade now.

(1) Increase Production which in turn increases Nigeria Exports

(2) Reduce Nigerians purchasing power thereby reducing our demand (importation) compared to our supply (exportation)

A normal hardworking leader who care so much about their followers ( citizens) always work towards #1. No.1 on this list is the hardest and it require a smart and hardworking leader to work with citizens in mass production ( either in agriculture, technology or whatever it is).

But a lazy leader who doesn’t care about their followers (citizens) will opt for #2. No.2 on this list is the easiest to achieve and require no effort from a leader. It’s the most wicked decision a leader will ever take cause citizens will be plunged into Poverty.

WHAT TYPE OF LEADER MAKE #2 A PRIORITY

Leaders who care only about stats and not reality always go for No.2

Leaders who never have the interest of making life better for their followers. Unfortunately, Tinubu chose #2.

I can’t imagine President of Nigeria being proud of reducing the purchasing power of Nigerians at international meeting in Brazil.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, if reducing Nigerians purchasing power is your main plan in making Nigeria better, I will conclude now that you are not a leader and doesn’t deserve to lead in 21st century. Argentina turn their fortunes around within a year without reducing citizens purchasing power. We voted for a man who should lead us in Industrial Revolution and not reducing our purchasing capability.

Nigeria journalists should please ask anyone either government officials or supporters of President Tinubu who ever preach better days ahead if the current hardship is what the president desire or not

You can’t desire to reduce your citizens purchasing power and still promise them to make things better. My advice to PDP is to present Southern candidate in 2027.

Mtchew, Tinubu is not just reducing our purchasing power, he is making us poorer.
Reducing purchasing power = Making them poorer.

It’s as simple as ABC.

The only thing lazy about this post is the writer.

Tinubu is a hardworking president, and he will get the economy back on track just like he did with Lagos. We just need to be patient.

We just need to be patient for what?

This is what the president desire. To cut the purchasing power of Nigerians and he is boasting about it.

Sir, what is the president planning to turn around? Turn around the purchasing power of Nigerians?

It is a fact that a country must balance her import and export. The more we import the poorer we get and the more we export the richer we become.
God bless Nigeria for ever!

While the only thing obvious about this comment is the fact that it confirms that truly, Tinubu's urchinstons, BATerians, and paid agents are the most unreasonable and senseless set of Homo sapiens to have ever emerged on the surface of the Earth.

Dollar is barely moving an inch. Rather, Naira is falling in value... has been since June of 2023, and continues to even after several attempts to artificially prop it back up. undecided

Stop lying! The Naira is falling in value against the Dollar in turn means that the Dollar gained in value RELATIVE TO the Naira --- of course, during the same period in consideration here. 🙄🙄🙄

What happened to the Naira after the 2023 elections has nothing to do with other currencies. 🙄🙄🙄
