This man used the pension issue as a strong campaign theme. They voted him on that basis. When he was sworn in, he said all pension and arrears would be cleared in 3 months. He didn't do that. It took him nine months to finally pay these pensioners and paid them only the nine months his administration owed but on the agreement that they'd forfeit the other pensions owed them.
How can you tell someone to forfeit their pension as if you're doing them favor? It's their money!
There's nothing wrong with paying them monthly and ignore the ones owed previously, maybe another govt after him might pay them. But as for hoodwinking them into a fraudulent agreement, that's wickedness.
Now he's saying, if they must have another agreement, they must return the 9 months he paid them. How fair is that? Stop defending wickedness before it visits you!

Most of these pensioners will be averaging less than 20k monthly.

This sounds funny to me. I am not trying to defend the present governor for not doing the needful but if only the past rogues from T.A Orji to Ikpeazu did the needful during their tenure, the present governor would have just focused on the recent retirees. May God help them.

Abia total oil output is not up to that of Lagos 30kbpd output.

Abia produces less than 5k daily.

The quantity of oil they produce is not the bone of contention here. Your initial argument was that the state doesn't contribute anything to the federal government. So stick to that.
