Having watched how Manchester City have been loosing matches over the recent weeks, what keeps coming to me is the financial fair play issues that have had hanging over them for a while..

I consider that these string of losses might be part of an under-the-table agreement between Man City and the Premier League authorities for them to "respectably" lose points instead of having such points summarily deducted publicly due to that FFP non-compliance

And with the way they are losing shamelessly match day after match day, it reinforces my thoughts that they are in quite a hurry to have all the agreed points lost so that they can get back to business...

Note...I have no concrete proof to back up this claim...but them going in the blink of an eye from being easily the most formidable premier League team to the serial losers they are presently has brought this possibilty to my mind

Goal number 3...!

Just when I was thinking the team can still salvage a draw and avoid such a negative history.

Could this be match fixing?!!

...But, 5 losses in a row!

That's too much, even for match fixing... A whole 4 consecutive title holders!

Omo... Wonders dey happen for EPL o. undecided

this is very interesting and brilliant analysis

However I won't agree because there is a thing called MATCH FIXING and if they get outed for it, it will fetch them bigger punishment

So I'll sat it's highly unlikely

They have just been fouling like anything. They are really struggling today

Which makes it all the more strange and highly SUSPICIOUS.

Even Rooney's Plymouth can't lose 5 consecutive games like this.

At a point even Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool were nothing ...teams like Nottingham forest ruled English football at some point

Just like all those other teams, at a point, Man city got funding and also got a sensible manager to employ those funds properly and thus broke into the elite.

Whatever is going on with Man city presently is fishy..and sooner or later, we will find out what it is.

Should city drop points against Liverpool , they should forget about the title this season as they would be haunted psychologically.

Already 5 games lose in a row

As in... This level of Match fixing will be the worst in the history of such a crime.

Even worse than what Juventus was found guilty of and demoted.

This is 2 steps demotion to Division 1. Lol. tongue

Yes

They seem to be very eager to drop the agreed points as quickly as possible

They don't seem to be even playing with any desire to win..in fact, it appears they are eagerly playing to lose and are trying as much as possible not to make it too obvious by scoring own goals
