It might be ludicrous to you, but not to me

Since you are part of the Premier League Disciplinary Committee, tell us how many of those charges Man City was convicted of and what the penalties are

If you don't, rest...

Man city is very likely paying up for something you aren't aware of.
And you are part of the under hand abi underground arrangement? grin

Having watched how Manchester City have been loosing matches over the recent weeks, what keeps coming to me is the financial fair play issues that have had hanging over them for a while..

I consider that these string of losses might be part of an under-the-table agreement between Man City and the Premier League authorities for them to "respectably" lose points instead of having such points summarily deducted publicly due to that FFP non-compliance

And with the way they are losing shamelessly match day after match day, it reinforces my thoughts that they are in quite a hurry to have all the agreed points lost so that they can get back to business...

Note...I have no concrete proof to back up this claim...but them going in the blink of an eye from being easily the most formidable premier League team to the serial losers they are presently has brought this possibilty to my mind
There is no point in this

In decades to come, it might be unknown team that will be topping EPL like the way City have been doing for years now

Everton hardly go on relegation yet always struggle every season

Nothing is permanent in life
Let me not lie... I was tipping Newcastle to be that team (the new Man City).

Newcastle don't have consistent fine players. They always sell their best

If Aston Villa should continue this way, they have a very good future

Should city drop points against Liverpool , they should forget about the title this season as they would be haunted psychologically.

Already 5 games lose in a row
They will definitely drop points against them next weekend. Abi they won win Liverpool for Anfield?

Did they include loosing to Sporting Lisbon (Champions League) to the so called agreement?

What are you on about?
The disciplinary sitting is on going and the conclusion will be announced next year for goodness sake.
This is why Guardiola signed a two year contract extension instead of walking away as he usually does because he does not want to leave Manchester city in the lurch in case the penalty for the 115 charges leads to City being relegated to the championship.

At a point even Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool were nothing ...teams like Nottingham forest ruled English football at some point

Just like all those other teams, at a point, Man city got funding and also got a sensible manager to employ those funds properly and thus broke into the elite.

Whatever is going on with Man city presently is fishy..and sooner or later, we will find out what it is.
So you think a team as big as this current City would risk their reputation (including those of the elite players) all because of their fair play isssue? grin That’s actually laughable because match-fixing is actually a bigger mess than the so called financial fairplay wahala. Go and ask teams like Marseille
