FreeStuffsNG:NNPC Executives/senior staffs are 49% of Nigeria s problem. Yar'adua made a very big mistake cancelling Obasanjo's sale of Port-harcourt & Kaduna refineries to Dangote & Otedola |

TooMuchStuff:Lol. Tribalism at it peak. Dangote would likely have received much more support if he were Igbo or Yoruba. Unfortunately, your criticism and hate stem from the fact that he is Hausa/Fulani. |

ncoolsome:Dangote can't sell for this amount. If a price of litre of petrol is 5k per litre, that means the naira to a dollar will be about 6500/$. If naira can strengthen against the dollar, then price of Dangote fuel will drop. |

ncoolsome:Before Dangote started operation, government was subsidizing petrol and there was no subsidy on diesel, kerosene and jet fuel. Do you still remember the insane price fuel importers were selling diesel per litre before Dangote start operation? It was Dangote that crashed the price of Diesel in Nigeria when he started operation. |

TooMuchStuff:But if he was igbo, you will praise him. Why are you people always bitter about others progress. Over twenty years, many Nigerian's were given licenses to build refineries including your people like emeka offer and others but prefer the easy way of making money through importations. Late Ubah was in charge of fifty percent of petroleum importations under Jonathan, with so much money he made then, why did he not even set up modular refineries but was lavishly spending his money anyhow but when Buhari came in as president, he was not among the re introduced fuel importer and that was where is downfall came by owning a lot of debt. He formed the Transformation agenda of Nigeria (TAN) has a political vehicle to support Jonathan re election and wasted alot of money during the process. Always praise a trailblazer, I can't really fought dangote about the oil saga cos Tinubu has not shown true leadership about the whole process. Tinubu as the final say about reduction in price. You can't sell crude on high to him and expect him to sell cheap. No business man do. Those of your brothers at ladipo, will they import spare parts and sell cheap. They are even gaining cos what they buy at lower dollar rate before, they now sell at this current rate and do you see anybody complaining. You people should stop bitterness on something you can't do. |

Matrixoba:It not a brag by dangote cos many countries, especially Africa ones are be buying from him but is concern is to solve sufficiency in his country first. Tinubu has not show the needed leadership in the whole saga and it look like he is importing refined PMS too through proxy. A sincere president will set a template on which dangote will operate. If he can't sell crude at a reduced price set out by international standard, then he should find a way for dangote reduced price product by removing the bottleneck, like payment of taxes from dangote and exchange it with pricing of his product. Visit dangote refinery and see for yourself. On almost daily basis you will see loading of refined product been taken to other countries. |

FreeStuffsNG:Marketers were paying NNPCL 3 to 6 months upfront without getting fuel, something that wasn't supposed to be more than a week. So, paying upfront shouldn't be an issue but exceeding the stipulated time of delivery should be the major concern |

FreeStuffsNG:I do not expect anything much from an APC zombies.Once I see you supporting APC and this useless government, two things come to my mind, either the person is ignorant or daft. This is a very lame excuse from the marketers to keep importing, how are the marketers bringing the products from offshore? They are paying for the products offshore via letters of credits. Why can't the marketers also issue LCs in Naira to Dangote and the issue is solved for both parties. The bank undertakes the obligation once a LC is issued , that way Dangote is sure of getting his payment from the bank while the marketers will pay the bank at a later time that meets their liquidity. To cite this as an excuse shows how shallow Nigerian business people are. |
