I understand she isn't sick nor handicapped; I was just empathetic. I feel all she needs now is to be empowered . In my city here, I see lots of Somalis coming into the country without little or no knowledge of English. The men goes into driving Taxis but they ensure their wives are enrolled in school. They undergo English classes and before you know it, they start speaking English with almost native accent. Within few years they become nurses and caregivers. I hope she sustains this second chance.
