The UN embarks on a global campaign to combat violence against women and girls every year between 25th November to 10th December.

Violence against women and girls is still very common and remains a prevalent form of Human Rights Abuse. It ranges from sexual abuse, physical assault, female genital mutilation which can lead to vesicovaginal fistula, etc

The Gender Based Violence Unit/One Stop Centre of National Obstetric Fistula Centre (NOFIC) Abakalikk, will be joining the global campaign this year.

The theme for the year is ......UNiTE To End Violence Against Women And Girls.

Let us join hands together to end this menace.

I totally agree with you. Men should wake up. Having policies that strive for and ensure men's right should also be in place but who are the policy makers, majority of them are Men.
