OkCornel:
But Tinubu listed food security as his topmost priority in his eight point agenda for the nation as of August 29, 2023.

Jagaban lovers, how far na? 🤷

1. food security;
2. poverty eradication;
3. growth,
4. job creation;
5. access to capital;
6. inclusion;
7. rule of law; and
8. fighting corruption

The point is there shouldn't be this level of hunger in Nigeria in 2024 because food are massively wasted in developed countries, so this is probably a deliberate program of mass starvation and the excuses about some reforms given are just that excuses to deliberately imposed hunger and starvation on Nigeria for whatever nefarious reasons I really don't know.
The reason why hunger is a big issue in Nigeria is because we have a dummy in aso rock
You need to see how customs tax the hell out of imported food, and at the same time the govt not subsidising domestic food production enough

Why won't hunger persists ?
Customs should temporarily suspend all duties on essential food imports
The hunger will ease, while we figure out what to do.
But African ppl will rather not
Some of them even like as ppl r starving

Alarmists. Not true. Even Tinubu concedes there is hunger. But there is what you and I must do. We must move away from being mentally disabled as consumers, to become mentally agile as producers, of whatever has market value. I found coffee growing in Nigeria and turned it to roasted coffee beans. Selling at N 50k per kg.

I really feel for young kids these days 7 - 15 years, mostly those that have lost one or both parents.ordinary plastic Pepsi is 400,malt is 700,beans derica 1500-2000k,most of them from less privileged background will go to bed hungry all the time due to biting hunger.

A liter of palm oil is sold for 2000k ,to cook a good pot of soup is now a luxury for middle class citizens because the income doesn't really take them home, transport alone
Will slash their income.
People are just suffering and dieing in silence 🤐
This feels like we are going back to the days of slavery

So what has Tinubu started producing or what incentive has he given to induce production? What will a civil servant that earns 70K produce when his salary is not enough to feed his family for a week? Is it part of Tinubu's job to make Nigerians hungry and poprer?

The youths have left the farms for white collar jobs. Those remaining in the village are only interested in scamming urban duelers, they are not ready for work.
And you think what you posted is the main problem with Nigeria? You need to think again.
