Igbos don sell their own land out of jealousy.

They sold their land to the Fulani and their forest is now filled with Igbos.

Even the bald headed vulture Reuben Mgbati knows the truth but Igbophobia propaganda must propagand. Education in south west doesn't remove tribalism. Good example is the white bearded cultist. 98.96% of them are not educated but just certificated illiterates

Why do you want to sell lands to Yorubas in Igbo land? Do they have any businesses over there? I can see igbos buying lands in Yoruba land to open businesses and build beautiful homes and factories to create employment. Where are the Yoruba beautiful homes in Onitsha and Aba? Name one...

Where are the Yoruba big factories in Igbo land? RCCG? Mountain of fire and Fire on the mountain? They actively encourage themselves through false narritives to avoid investing in the East. Oh, we are going to sell precious lands to someone, so he can start a mushroom factory for the production of that liver/kidney nemesis called agbo.

Enough ahbegi. You don't have neither the money nor the business to motivate you buy a land in the East. It's the fact. That's not an Igbo mans problem. Stop gaslighting by accusing others of not wanting to sell to you when you're not in a position to buy. Lands are bought for a reason and not for chest beating.

oga go and rest. You people are too tribalistic. A Yoruba guy did his youth service in my office, after service he was employed. He has been in my state since 2012 and has acquired about 6 plots of land in different parts of the state. His wife who also a Yoruba woman is even an employee of the state government, all in Igbo land.

Igbos are the only people that can win the world cup for Nigeria.
Re: Igbo People No Dey Sell Land. See Evidence by Dogalmighty17:
Since the OP has chosen to draw attention to the matter, I'll narrate an incident that happened 7 years back.

My sisters fiance who was based outside the country was looking for suitable land for an investment in Imo state. His lawyer here in Nigeria after going round, saw one somewhere in Owerri that he thought would be just perfect. The lawyer met the owner of the land and the owner(a chief) confirmed that yes the land is for sale and mentioned his price(24m).

The lawyer informed the prospective buyer of the land and he drove over to Owerri to see the land(he came into the country for vacation). When they met the chief, he received them excitedly greeting them in Igbo. But it was only the lawyer answering since his client that he came with, is from Edo State.

Upon realizing that the intended buyer of the land was not Igbo, the chief drew the lawyer aside and berated him seriously for bringing a non-igbo to buy land. The chief then pointedly stated that his new price for the land is 92m and he stood his ground.

Disappointed, the lawyer and his client left. It made no sense to buy land that was listed at 24m and suddenly it is raised to 92m all because he is not Igbo.

Whatever has to be said, the truth is the remaining parts of Nigeria have fully opened up and embraced the Igbo. Allowing them to settle, buy lands and establish businesses. It will actually be a good thing if the same can be replicated in Igbo land.

My comment is by no means intended to champion any ethnic stereotypes nor cast aspersions on any group of people.

lol… don’t be foolish, I stayed in Oba anambra and okposi in ebonyi state for several years.

I have fish ponds in all this locations. Your people will only lease land and not sell to strangers as non Igbo are considered so.

Battle for land by family members are considered too expensive to joke with

You are still repeating same Op tried explaining but in a different way though with some foolishness.

There are sacred umunna lands that can never be sold to strangers which includes everyone not from that community.

But there are general areas that anybody can buy from.

It is what it is!
