The Yoruba political class is gradually re-aligning market leadership to reflect more of Yoruba indigenes.

My Yoruba people, it's not noise. It's a process and we are getting there. Our aim is to completely wipe out these people out of our land. We'll be there.

Markets are blessings to the community where they are, they generate revenue and also means of employment. Any government that understands this and support it, will maximise the potential of the said market to its advantage.

Those people still won't be satisfied. Just wait and see as they will complain about the composition of the 5-man board... Something that can never happen in their own space

Later, they will still to say Yoruba people are tribalistic yen yen yen.

Let them show us a Non Igbo man that has been elected, appointed and becomes member of any board of administrator of any South Eastern State government institutions. No way!
When Ebonyi people are even regarded as fake Igbo and Anambra people will refuse to rent out apartments to them or sell lands to them. You now expect a Yoruba, Efik, Hausa, Fulani Edo etc man to get an "appointment", Almighty state govt appointment in a South East State, e no go happen.

You 'bigots' and delusion. You chained yourselves to Lagos but aspire to be leaders in the South East, when you aren't even a leader in nearby Ekiti. No be JuJu be that? The Igbo man with a leadership position did not get invited from his home yesterday to become your leader today. He has invested years here and has way better knowledge of this terrain than you do. He is more the people's person than you are. Own it. Do better.

Close your shops and keep your audio revenue, go and set your business up in Awka or Aba. That will be better, it's not by force to operate your business in Lagos if you cannot abide by the rules and standards set by the host.
