JagabanBorgu:
The last time I checked, u all were accusing me of working for 30k and how hunger will kiII me while u are all enjoying already, how comes the story has changed today?
First and foremost, Ghana don't have richer population, what u will get with $10 in Ghana, u will need way less than $10 to get that in Nigeria.
The fact that a Ghanaian need to spend more on data than a Nigerian does not mean they are enjoying, it means they are suffering, if fuel is sold for #200/L, Nigerians will still need to spend way less than they are spending now for equal or more goods and services, so for Ghana to have more people spending $10 a day than Nigeria does not mean they are rich, it's because they need to spend more to acquire goods and services that a Nigerian spend lesser for, that ur metric is buIIsh!t.
Someone who can't afford basic needs won't spend $30 on phone, neither will he subscribe Spotify and use data to stream songs from artists, it's basics.
I never knew that Nigerians are mandated to stream songs from Davido because he's popular, I have never streamed a song from Davido, I don't know his songs because the few I listened to from others, I never liked them.
Get a grip my friend, u can't dictate who gets streams and how many because u want to propound an economic theory, ur theories are too Iame and I saw u claiming the other to be an engr, I'm sure u are not an engr else I would have really liked to know who recommended u for accreditation.
Your understanding of basic economics is actually so poor their is no point discussing with you

Nigeria is good.. APC is doing well.. Tinubu is Nigerians best president

Hope u are happy now

Reno is making sense here. Davido's comments may have been influenced by the situation in Osun state, which has faced challenges under the leadership of his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke. It's important for Davido to recognize that while he may have US citizenship, he should avoid de-marketing Nigeria and consider the impact of his words on a global platform.
I don't follow these young artistes but I watch interviews a lot. I saw an artiste called Tems and they asked her questions about home, Nigeria. I liked her maturity of responding to the yabs by the hosts. She too threw yabs at them but you could see a lady who was well grounded about how things work around the world. I think Davido is older than her but how can such a young lady know what to say without hiding the truth?
That is where Davido's immaturity is introduced. I hope he learns

I don't claim to be an engr when I'm not, someone who claims to be engr but can't defend his claim can't understand economy.

U don't even understand basic metrics of measurement, someone who studied engineering did basics in metrics and standards of measurements.
$10 =150Ghc
$10 =#16900
Go to d mall, purchase items with #16900, tell someone in Ghana to purchase same items in Ghana and see who will get more quantity, u guys don't travel, ur myopia starts from there.

The money used in purchasing 1GB of data in Ghana can be used to purchase about 2-3GB in Nigeria, so because someone in Ghana is spending $10, someone in Nigeria must spend $10 too else they are not living well.
Ur analysis of Davido streams is another buIIsh!t.
Were u not same guy who was measuring govt infrastructures based on how much govt will make from it?
Avoid economic discourses, they are way above your scope.

If your god Tinubu replicate half of what Adeleke is doing in Osun state in federal level , the country wouldn't be at this woefull state.

You have mouth to say nonsense about Adeleke that is billion times better than your new found god but praise your new found god to high heavens, even when it's obviously clear that your new found god is a destined failure.

Don't worry, your appointment is on the way. You'll be appointed, this I am sure of.
don't mind the fool and those saying it's the truth. Just because we want to play politics some losers are still backing the stupid claims of Reno.. seriously Nigerians are truly the enemies of Nigeria. Simple truths they won't say so tiffnubu is doing well in their mind chai

Osun Economy is in Shambles under Ademola Adeleke – Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, an erstwhile spokesperson to former president Goodluck Jonathan has blasted Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido over his claim that Nigeria’s economy is in shambles. Reno disagreed with David stating that Nigeria’s economy have faired better under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while same cannot be said of the local economy of Osun State under the leadership of Davido’s uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke. In Reno’s words, “I beg to disagree with singer Davido that Nigeria’s ‘economy is in shambles’. If our economy is in shambles, how was it possible for Wizkid’s album, Morayo, to record 12.12 million streams on its inaugural day of release on Spotify Nigeria, which made the album the biggest-selling album on a streaming platform in Nigeria’s history for the first day. Please fact-check me: Streaming music is purchased with disposable income. People do not have disposable income in an economy in shambles, not to mention breaking streaming records, especially on Spotify, where the average streaming cost is $10.99 monthly. How many singers have broken streaming records in Venezuela or Argentina? Those are economies that could be said to be in shambles, not Nigeria. Perhaps if Davido had built a track record of showing more commitment to Nigeria, he, like Wizkid, would have broken streaming records on Spotify Nigeria. I urge Davido to learn from Rihanna, who never talks down on her country and instead uses her celebrity to promote Barbados and project her positively to the world. Which is why Rihanna was named a national hero and cultural ambassador for Barbados in 2018. David Adeleke displayed ignorance and a lack of patriotism with that statement on a globally renowned podcast like The Big Homies House. Even worse is that he said “We do not have the best leader, that is a fact.” It is rather disappointing for a young man whose uncle is a governor and should, therefore, know better. Even worse, he said that to a foreign audience in a foreign country. Davido may have US citizenship, but that does not mean he should de-market Nigeria. The reforms in Nigeria were necessary to stop wastage, such as the $1.5 billion used to defend the Naira monthly, the $15 billion expended on fuel subsidy annually, and the wanton importation of products that we could manufacture in Nigeria by opportunistic importers. And the reforms are working. Nigeria has had four uninterrupted consecutive quarters of trade surpluses for the first time ever, meaning that we now export more than we import. Nigeria has achieved a new record in its balance of trade, with an unprecedented ₦14.07 trillion trade surplus by half year 2024. On Thursday, March 28, 2024, the Nigerian Stock Exchange crossed 104,562.06 All Shares Index, a 39.84% increase year-to-date, making it the second-best performing exchange in Africa. The reforms have come with some short-term challenges, which are understandable. Nevertheless, steps have been taken to cushion their effect on Nigerians and raise their purchasing power, including the increase of the minimum wage by 140% from ₦30,000 to ₦70,000, which is probably why our youths had the power to help Wizkid break streaming records. Student loans have also been introduced for both students of federal and state-owned tertiary institutions for the first time in Nigeria’s history, even as conditional cash transfers have been paid and are still being paid to the poorest of the poor in Nigeria. And it may be that his personal experience in Osun State has made Davido take such a position. After all, Osun State, under the dancing Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, was one of the last states to increase their minimum wage to match up with the Federal Government’s new minimum wage, despite receiving 65% more federal allocation under the Tinubu government. If that is the case, then Davido may want to specify that Osun’s local economy is in shambles, not Nigeria’s.”
