I sent a message to a senator, he referred me to one of his SA and gave me his number , I called him (SA) told him about the ongoing FIRS recruitment and asked him for help, he said firs don't honour their letters sent previously, that I should get other agencies recruiting and he'll be able to write them. Please which agencies are recruiting now and can his letter influence getting a job for someone?

REA is no where close to being an A-list agency. Not even a B.

It’ll be easier if you look for agencies within the Senator’s committee.

Almost all the A and B list organizations don’t honor invitation letters again. Either he should help you with a job from the committee he is heading or you should ask the SA which organization the senator has more influence. Then you can make your choice.

What's up with REA, any updates, no time oo

There are different categories of senators and reps. The ones that top agencies honor their recommendations are the top ranking senators, ex governors who are now senators, principal officers and senators that come from same state with the MDs/CEOs of these agencies. Sometimes if they have personal relationships with the MDs/CEOs. Membership of Committee where the agency is assigned. Lastly the senators that have been in the Senate for long can help cos they can lobby it for you. But in Nigeria all senators can get you any job if they personally and intentionally want to help you.
