Kindly moderate your clouting. No one is hating on something that MAY possibly affect his life positively.

That guy should not be allowed to monopolize the petrochemical processing business in Nigeria...

If not we are in big trouble...

News like this is very healthy for our economy.

We need more refineries to spring up and flood our market with petroleum products..

They way the price will remain down and stable for a while.
I just hate hearing all this monopoly thing. Who is stopping anyone from building a refinery and sell to the market. If they don’t want monopoly, the marketers can gather their money together and build a refinery.

There is one ideology always guiding my assertions about Nigeria

..."expected result always fail here"....

The same way ur bank balance with a new deposit can never be equal to ur calculated balance,...this is exactly how Nigeria operates.

I can assure u that a working Port Harcourt, Kaduna, dangote, ..and even Ekiti refineries won't guarantee a reduction in the prices of fuel....

My ppl...don't expect anything good from this ( based on precedence)
If it's truly working and other start working too, the price of petrol will fall. It's like you don't the law of demand and supply. And don't forget there's Dangote refinery too.

I don't just trust Nigerians. Show us the videos of oil refining... Not lights. We need to see the oil being refined or petrol produced.

Which Lord?

Na wa for una o. Little wonder the politicians don't rate Nigerians.
Whichever way you want to look at it, it's a progress we have all been clamouring for, for all our refineries to work.

I know it's nothing to you because of misgovernance of successive administration and betrayal of citizens trust by this government especially but in as much we want to always criticize the government, let's also appreciate little little wins here and there.

I didn't vote for Tinubu during the election and I am not his follower but I am happy with this news if it's true, by the time all four refineries starts production and other modular refineries in different locations across the country, the problem of inadequate supply would be solved, competition would set in, forcing down prices.

I know the man is messing up but there's nothing anyone can do but to wait till 2027 to vote him out.
Re: Video Of Now Functional Port Harcourt Refinery by Greattha: 3:07pm On Nov 26, 2024
This your last paragraph is funny...vote who out in which 2027?

Dreams.

The important thing is he should do well whether he's liked or not.

Nothing has been done without the price of fuel dropping. That's what controls everything.

What would you have me say to an unhappy citizen of Nigeria? Should I have told him or her to match to Aso rock and shoot the president?

We are running a Nigerian version of democracy, one way to remove a president at least in this Nigerian version of democracy is through elections. The second way is by revolution, who wants to lay down his life for a revolution to take place?
Re: Video Of Now Functional Port Harcourt Refinery by vuc1(m): 3:23pm On Nov 26, 2024
This is commendable.A very good step in the right direction. It shows the government is listening and trying too.Now another sector that needs urgent surgery for our economy to improve is power sector. If the government can get the power sector to start working effectively while making it affordable a lot will change for better.
