Life doesn’t begin and end in the city, and Gen Z ladies are not the majority of married women, so you don’t have to draw your conclusions based solely on your experiences or others’ experiences with them.

I’ve traveled around this country, mixed with different cultures, and can tell you unequivocally that irresponsibility is not gender-based.

Igala women—most of them—run the household, and Idoma women do the same. I’m talking about those in the villages. Let’s not even get started on Bayelsa or Delta. How about Baba Iyabo, who drops 2k in the morning before leaving the house and returns in the evening to eat his fill, or Papa Emeka, who drops a single tuber of yam and expects to eat to his fill at night? What about Aboki husbands, whose wives are in a different state, surviving on 5k or 10k sent to them every weekend?

Guy, Nigerian women are hardworking, and they take care of their families—especially their children.
Thanks for that observation as it shows the true state of the issue rather than through the lenses of those who see Nigeria beginning from Lagos then terminates at Abuja.

Nonetheless, it's good we've this survey because TwitterNG feminists have ranted so much about women being breadwinners that a first timer would have thought half of Nigerian households were sponsored by the women.

How many Bread bakers are out there? For every one male bread baker in Nigeria now, there are 2 female breadwinners and heads of households...I'm giving you real-time data on female breadwinning. NBS deliberately underreported the percentage of FBW so they don't bruise the male ego
Readers should believe a random Houseontherock1 over Nigeria's premier statistical agency? No methodology, no places where you have lived but hey, you are an authorative voice on the topic? shocked

Chimo!!!

God bless all hardworking women there. Nothing as sweet as financial independent. No idiotic noneñtity of a man can do nonsense in your presence. Infact your aura intimidates them a lot.
They are feeding themselves from a male planned investments.

Kudos

Breadwinner only means she is the top earner. The vast majority of the breadbakers are still male.
As simple as Abcd

Stupidity is not AURA. There is no law anyehere saying man must earn above a woman once they are together.
The biggest feminist on earth depends on men.
The most successful women aren’t feminists
