Anyway, HBP is not a sickness but a condition that resulted from troubling state of mind or sometimes hereditary. It could vanish the way it comes if the carrier takes a necessary lifestyle change.

Nope. Its not. The rate of anxiety in America is insane, almost everybody is on anxiety med. It's as a result of people worrying too much how to pay their bills and be successful and put food on the table of their family.
Ironically, Americans make so much money than any other countries of the world, but they want more and thats why they remain on top.

Illiterate, hypertension has genetic and dietary causes.
It has nothing to do with emotions. Thinking or anger doesn't cause high BP as many of you ignorantly thought.
The higher figures may even mean that Igbos are more conscious of their health than others and patronize the hospitals more for diagnosis to be made, compared to people from other parts of thr country.
