She actually tried to extort money from the rapist cop. If she truly claims she's innocent, let her demand that the proceedings of her orderly room trial be made available to the public. When she was questioned in line with the extant rules and regulations of the Police,she was unable to absolve herself from culpability of allegations against her. She's a bad egg that ought to be flushed out of the system. If she feels dissatisfied with the outcome of the trial at the command level,she is entitled to appeal for a retrial by the force provost Marshall @ the Force Hqtrs, Abuja. By going online to rant,she is still compounding her present ordeal going by Police directives on online activities of it personnel. Best option is for her to get a lawyer to demand a retrial at an higher level.

The girl alleged to have been raped is not forthcoming to press charges but the officer in charge legal is acting on the case in order for a case of rape to be established since victim "the raped girl" must testify in court to gain conviction.

She and the officer was dismissed. It's the state government that will prosecute the case, not the police.
Only Edo state govt can ans why the case is yet to commence, maybe police is still investigating.
I believe the state supposed to have shown interest in the case since it's a public concern.
Police corruption just dey too deep, it's either the station and crew are overly corrupt or the couple which are members of the station are super corrupt

Victim needs to step up as principal witness, however she might have been threatened, or scared of stigmatisation.
In some states like Lagos, there is protection for such victim, even if she decline to step forward, as long as there is a witness that can stand in as in this case, the suspect will still be prosecuted
