We ain't seen nothing yet. This Government that is bereft of ideas might eventually push us to the proverbial wall. They just seem to be clueless about almost everything.
Smuggling is kind of legalised now in border areas undertaken by people close to those in power. Some of these people are on first name closeness with the Comptroller-General of Customs.
The only agency doing some semblance of professional work is the NDLEA . Others are dead and buried

Hian. It is indeed very troubling. Back then with 2500 Naira, you can cook a pot of ogbono soup that will last 3days. Now it's a different ball game as a cup of ogbono is around 4000 Naira in Lagos.

When truly wonder where we are heading in this country of ours. I see a future where things will get much, much worse and everything will spiral out of control and will eventually lead to a "revolution".
Oh you want a revolution now

The price increase from N7,500 to N100,000 is one of the effects of external borrowing.
When the federal government takes external loans, they indirectly take money from the general Nigerian population through naira devaluation and excessive inflation. angry

Unfortunately, there is no running away, in 2031 he would be declared winner again whether he is voted for or not
APC from Buhari actually did something evil to this country that we citizens don’t know yet , because am still try to find out what change in between Obasanjo regime and then APC regimes that brought this suffering on Nigerians

Somehow you forgot to ask who brought the skyrocketing price in the first place, selective dementia grin
no mind am.even the Igbo man at onitsha I buy things from told me that they always Pray for policies to make price of all goods to reduce and for people to have access to money, as it will also mean more increase in demand for his goods. That is it. They put in
effort to make things easy for their customers and ultimately, themselves. Only if nigerians listened in 2015, 2019, and 2023, all this cases of hunger for no dey heard of as things for still dey as low as 2015

lol.

You expect people not to make profits? Your president and party make stupid economic decisions that benefit some traders and you expect the traders not to make profit?

You can as well enter the rice trade business so you can reap from the skyrocketing profits.

shortgun:
A bag of rice still sells for less than 10k in neighboring countries. Corrupt wicked people in government will import the same rice, rebtand it then sell for over 100k per bag.
This is why the ban on importation of rice will never be lifted even if all Nigerians die of starvation.

Tinubu is a very ruthless person when it comes to making money from the pains of the people.
Not only that, custom and FG are making billions of naira too from import duty on rice through the seaports. That's why the ban on land importation will remain in place.

He has said it severally that he bought the presidency with his money .It will be delusional for anyone to think he is concerned by your suffering and gnashing of teeth
Which money? The govs were the ones who directed the delegates from their states to vote for him and they didn't collect money from him for the delegates, they paid the delegates themselves. I can't say about the delegates from the states that didn't have APC govs at the time.
Secondly, there was no much money to be shared during the general election of 2023 because Emefiele made sure that our naira notes were either destroyed or confiscated at the time. So, most voters willingly gave their votes to their preferred candidates, money didn't play any significant role during the last presidential election

A country that hates agriculture and basic education cannot do much amongst the comity of nations.

We prefer to import than produce.

The solutions are far fetched but we prefer to suffer as usual.

We go wake up when sleep belleful us.
So under a decade Nigerian farmers went to sleep abi?
Instead of looking at the root cause you guys will just be explaining nonsense to shield these evil politicians.
The major cause of this inflationary trend is high exchange rate, skyrocketing price of petroleum products and insecurity that is hindering farmers from going to farm
Don't bother to argue with me cos I have already finished my lecture. Bye
