As spouse of international student in canada applying for visit visa to visit spouse in canada , the visit visa will only be issue based on the validity of the student permit of the husband/wife in canada not on passport validity.

Alhamdullilai my visa and my 2kids visa has just been approved….after previous refusal in march this year
Timeline…Applied-June 6 2024
Biometric- already have from formal application
Approval-November 22 2024
I pray God will answer all the people waiting soon

Does anyone know how long it takes for VFS/IRCC to stamp the visa and return passport?

Pls I did my biometrics in Abuja but I am in lagos now, where do I submit my passport? Must it be in same Abuja I did biometrics or I can submit in lagos by walking into vfs office? Is there any fee to be paid if I am to walk in to submit in person? Plus I have an infant too ( not up to 1yr)

2) it's a family application of 4 people, if I am to submit to Abuja, can same courier take the 4 passport at once since it is group application?

3) what and what is needed for submission along with the passport

1) if u did ur biometrics in Abuja and want to submit in lagos, u can do a walk-in but u would be paying for transmission fee of abt 33k. But recently there has been post abt people who did biometrics in Lagos, submitted in lagos and were still asked to pay for transmission fee. I dont knw why that happened.

2) yes, d same courier can take all of them at once. Just package everything in one big envelope, but u had to seperate it in different envelope b4 packaging it in one big envelope.

3. 2 passport data page
4. Consent letter
5. The biometrics letter u were given d day u did biometrics.
