erad:From this I can tell you that you're part of this ruling government, so if dangote a private company sale fuel, high, Govt will still sale fuel the same price? Dangote buys raw material, nnpc has its own share of crude oil, the oil coy does all the hard work. I don't need to teach you about the oil industry. Just know that whatever you're benefiting from this govt will finish. |

Some marketers in the South-East and South-South will still find it cheaper than buying from Dangote due to cost of transportation. |

Phonebook4122:I would have ignored you but that'll embolden you to say the same nonsense to someone else. Just because I have a different opinion, I'm benefiting from the government. That's a lazy and wicked thought process, and it's the reason you'll probably keep being a loser for life. You claim to know about the oil industry, then educate me. But of course all you have is social media knowledge driven by emotions and misinformation. Y'all just act like authorities in fields you have no knowledge of. It's the reason you'll never learn, because you feel you know it all and will never accept superior argument even when it's looking you in the face. Keep wallowing in your ignorance. Just always remember this conversation when things don't work out for you, its not because of anything, it's because of your failure to understand and adapt. |

Lumarstone:..it's the high exchange rate of 1750 naira to a dollar that is causing the high costs of fuel....if the exchange rate is from 600 naira to a dollar the price of fuel will reduce and come down..the federal government have to appreciate and strengthen the naira against the dollars |
| Re: Port Harcourt Refinery’s Petrol Price Higher Than Dangote’s By ₦75/ltr — PETROAN by ufotunang: 2:19pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
I have said it the high exchange rate of 1750 naira is the cause of the high costs of fuel....if the exchange rate is from 600 naira to a dollar the price of fuel will reduce and come down. So the federal government have to try and appreciate and strengthen the naira against the dollars for the price of fuel to be cheap and affordable |

erad:If someone ask you what you just did? What will you say? The crude who owns it Nigeria! With whose money did they use to set up the refinery? Nigeria! Who are they selling it to? Nigerians! Pity the mass for once. How can an individual company sell cheaper than state owned refinery? The mere fact that they have played Nigerians since 2021 with the promise that it will work is enough to lower the price. |

Dshocker:The earlier people understand that this APC government does not mean well for her citizens, the better. Nigerians are paying for all the loans the collected indirectly. Don't expect reduced price |

MEGAWATCH:Lol... Your case is that of a sane person having his bath in an outdoor bathroom with his towel on the door. A mad man came, took the towel and started running away. The sane man then started chasing the mad man while still naked, who will bystanders assume is mad? Enjoy the towel bro. |

Freebills12:I respect your civility. While I agree with all you've said, these things are not as simple as they look. Everyone will always have their own justification for their approach and results. Rather than always attack everything, why not seek details. I'm not saying there's no corruption or everything is working as it should, but having a better understanding of their perspective before making general statements will go a long way. No matter what anyone feels, this is progress. This refinery has been written off till now. It's a free market, the government is not forcing anyone to buy. State your grievances in more official manner rather than trying to manipulate the media to bully the government. That's why so many idiots here that can't even run a one man business believe they understand enough to throw accusations around and knock the government over things they don't even understand. |

Flangelo12:Dangote is strangling competition you are saying competition is driving what down. Eventual Port Harcourt will have to call a truce otherwise Dangote will run the refinery out of business. And then he will resume his premium pricing. Nigerians forget too quickly |
