couples that did not communicate for over 12 hours, is it a sign of unhealthy marriage?. A friend of mine told me that his wife of 10 years did not call him for over 12 hours today and he refused to call her because he always call her like 2 or 3 times before 5 pm she will close from work, she is a top civil servant with 3 masters degree and my friend is a businessman with secondary school certificate, they have been married for 10 years and have a son of 1 year and 10 months ( the only child) but from another woman with approval from the wife and she has been taking good care of the boy from birth, I am suspecting that they have problem before now which he did not want to tell me. I know my friend is not doing well in his business, the woman is not respecting my friend like when they started
10 years ago.

They are based in Abuja.

Please what is your advise on this matter

I think your friend is a little bit carried away about his challenges on his business, he should try to calm down and look for ways to sort his business out but most importantly trust me on this, let him make peace with his wife because he will be feeling bitter all through. And NO, them not talking to each other for just 12hrs doesn't mean the marriage is broken down. Both of them just need a little talk space, you can call it a scarce space for them to miss each other for a while. Whatever it is make peace with your wife and both of them should understand that business and work are very separate things from family affairs. Let them try to create a balance between them and know that the health and development of the child solely depend on them making peace.Good luck

No matter how into each other people are, sometimes the vibe or morale is low to do some basic stuff. It may not be too deep. Alone time or a little bit of space is not bad to rejuvenate. You said 12 hours no call that's like half day...but they will see themselves at home right?

I don't understand what some people term communication these days.
Is it by stalking someone with unnecessary calls? For me in as much as we'll see and talk at home I'm fine.

You mean just 12hrs and you're complaining?
When has excessive phone call become a prerequisite for Respec in marriage?

Some of these issues can be resolved if the two parties can calm down to explain to each other.
