Is it what the bulk of productive Nigerians want? If yes, then feel free to air your discontent but understand that it is never going through be about just you, that's if you are a productive Nigerian too. We get all manner of things as leaders these days, that in no way represents the best of us. |

![]() The fact that you taught in the polytechnic for 20 years doesn't mean jack. Even if you be Rector before joining politics, E no still mean shit. You demonstrated a clear lack of understanding. Despite attempts to enlighten you, your opinions remained uninformed. Your national TV appearance was particularly disappointing, as you seemed to focus solely on the bill's title rather than its actual content, much like our lazy polytechnic lecturers who don't bother to delve deep on topics before coming to class to impart ignorance, rather than knowledge |

Why is it only senators from the North that is against this bill? You close down betting shops, destroy alcohol bottles, yet you still want to benefit from the VAT these companies pay? You say they're unholy but their money isn't? After making businesses run away from your region to the SW and SS because of insecurity you then want those regions to keep feeding you not only with their resources but with their VAT also, which kind of parasitic behavior is this? If this is what will make your leaders sit up and work then so be it. |

Ndume is right. He knows what's coming for the masses. He knows Tinubu cannot be trusted. Nigeria is already polarised and Tinubu on the bandwagon a thing of concerned. Imagine the propaganda going on around the Port-harcout refinery within just a day. Is it such a person we will trust? For those guys to be running around national assembly at this crucial time is suspecting. Something untoward is brewing and it will be clear very soon. |

Senator Ndume... Well respected and one of the most experienced Senator in the Senate... But then, at times, he should know when to support a good reform. His argument about timing and the fact NEC and Traditional rulers are currently not buying into Tax reform bills are skewed.. As a Senator, if he has read and digested a bill and he can see it's something important and needed to move the country forward...why should a legislature wait for the buy-in of Governors before they make laws for the progress of the Country ![]() He was of the view that there is economic hardship now, and Tax reforms is ill timed because of this...the argument is that, ill timed or not.....Are we not paying Taxes now Are we not paying personal income tax, are we not paying VAT...are Nigerians and organisations not paying multiple taxes right now![]() These are the issues...a reform that intend to harmonise our multiple tax systems and lessen the burdens of tax payers...ensuring the Government do not over tax us and also bring those that are outside tax net into the folds should embraced. We don't need the Governors to buy into this....we know they all love multiple taxations.. especially at the local governments level...and it is not harmonised...majority of tax collected are in private pockets ! |

Ndume is an enemy of progress. If he knows how much money Nigeria has sunk down the drain fighting his illiterate Boko Haram brothers in Borno state, he won't be opposing a tax reform bill that will put more money to work for the country in a more productive manner. Even after the tax consultant educated him and his colleagues in the national assembly, he is still behaving like a stubborn cow. |

Even if you were a Rector from birth in a northern Polytechnic, dear Ndume; you are ignorant. All you northern parasites are after is handouts, you supported bh and drove down your regions economy, now your looking for free money from other regions. Truth be told, the bill is not even anti north if you read through the content. |

You are not ignorance but wicked and bigot, during Obj , Jonathan and now Tinubu, your voice would be louder in the senate, but when the pendulum swings, you would quickly loss ur voice. |
