Super Eagles drop eight places in latest FIFA rankingP

Nigeria’s Super Eagles dropped eight places in the latest men’s ranking released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), DAILY POST reports.

FIFA released the latest men’s ranking on its official website on Thursday.

The three-time African champions, who were previously ranked 36th, now occupy 44th position.

The Super Eagles also dropped from fourth to fifth position in Africa.

The West Africans drew one and lost one of their two outings in the month of November.

Morocco maintained top position in Africa, with Senegal, Algeria and Egypt in second, third and fourth positions, respectively.

Well deserved. Tiny Rwanda beat and disgraced us at home so should we now expect a promotion. If we talk now some enemy of progress will be gyrating foolishly that there is no small team in Africa and that Eguavoen should continue as coach

It’s the coach. Compare Eguavoen’s performance with the last two coaches we had apart from finidi especially in terms of group qualifying matches and draw a conclusion.
If NFF continue with Eguavoen destruction is around the corner. Just forget about the World Cup because all that is in his head like most Nigerian coaches is baseless attacking football

How many times will Eguavoen fail before you know he is of no good?

It's not about local or foreign coaches. Eguavoen is not good enough for the world cup, unless you want to use the last few matches where the eagles were scrapping for low score wins to judge.

The Eagles are already a bit behind with the world cup qualifiers results. Get a good coach now that he will have enough time to prepare and acclimatize with the team before match. I thought they said he was an interim coach.
