Iamgrey5:Stop dabbling into what you know nothing about. Olumegbon had nothing to do with Benin. Olumegbon is purely an Awori and the head of Idejo. While Ajah belongs to mixtures of Awori and Ijebu. Tapa has no land in Ajah |

Eriokanmi:First of all, you still pull this off your arse. You didn't bring any single iota of evidence to back up your claim that ikeja was ever known as Ikedia or whatever. The bini people who came to Lagos Island came through Atlantic ocean not footpath, the ishekiri also have the same documentation. Hence they ended up on the island I don't really understand your lopsided history and they even documented they met people even on island. They met the white cap Awori chiefs on the land. History is clear the king in Ikeja is Awori Ikeja is surrounded by Aworis The history of Ikeja on the Lagos state government website is same as the one I posted. So where is this your Ikedhia history from ? |

Eriokanmi:Iga is an Ijebu word for palace. Same thing as Iganran. Idu means stand, points in Ijebu dialect. Iganran means pepper. Idugaran means pepper stands/point. Same with Oju-Olobun. Obun means market in Ijebu dialect. The traditional and cultural identities of Lagos Island can be traced mostly to Ijebu and Awori. Oba of Lagos was the only throne in South West without its own land. Kosoko stopped his rule from reaching Ereko which is less than 3km from his Palace. Likewise Oloto of Iddo controls Iddo. |

Iamgrey5:Every white cap Chief has family farm outside Lagos Island. Aromire owns Ijora, Badia , Ajegunle and Apapa. Onikoyi farm settle use to be in Ajiran. Olumegbon family have shown proof of collecting land rents in Ajah as far back as 1930s. They have court judgment supporting it. For the fact that they allowed settlers to be Baale in the past doesn't cancel their ownership of the Land. I am from Ikorodu and I have family that are related to Ajah from Ikorodu as they farm there in the olden days. My lineage are qualify for the Oba stool in Langbasa. |

Iamgrey5:Full name of Olumegbon is Olumegbon Ajaiye. And Ajaiye was shortened to Ajah. It use to be igbo/oko Ajaiye. Olumegbon family has proof of collecting land rents in Ajah as far back as 1930s supported with valid court judgments. The Olumegbon should not allow those people from being Baale again. |

Away from the fight and still on the fight. This hullabaloo further tells the yeebos that Lagos actually belongs to some people. There are indigenous Lagosians, Yoruba, different from immigrants from other regions, country or monotonous community as the case may be. |

I thought they said it's the gods that pick the king, so it's actually people that do? I guess the gods are humans then. |

Housing:That was a problem that the British created and the Oba of Epe protested against it and informed the British that it was his land They seized the land that belonged to Epe including one called Palma and were trying to use it to Pacify and bribe Kosoko https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Epe |

Iamgrey5:DELETE OR EDIT THIS Olumegbon is an Idejo chief and has no connection with Benin whatsoever. Infact, the eldest amongst them, hence his name OLUMEGBON. They are the land owning chiefs of Lagos who are of pure Awori descent as the descendants of Olofin Ogunfunminire. Research on the Olumegbon pls. |

Housing:Indeed, Olumegbon and other white cap chiefs of Lagos Island are direct descendants of Olofin Ogunfunminire of Awori-Yoruba lineage via Ile Ife migration. |

Eriokanmi:See this criminal impostor trying to insert his people forcefully into Yoruba history . Is this clown even aware that Ilaje is a Yoruba group and therefore own the land in Ondo. Where’s the evidence for all the nonsense you stated up ? Abi you are the only one who has seen the fake maps ? Even trying to change Ikeja to a funny Benin name 😂😂 Mumu said after Benin, then Awori can claim ownership. Ownership of where if I may ask ? The Idejos own the land and that fact has been established even before Nigeria was formed. I’d always known you as a terrible liar . You are not Yoruba and can never be . Useless , lying miscreant |
