RodgersAkpafu:A cof o is not ownership. It is a long lease and it is revocable and one of the grounds is security. So like I said carry on. Nobody sold you land, know the difference. If your land was purchased after 1976, your land is leased, you are merely long term tenants and the way you are going, many of you will find it difficult to renew those leases when they expire.. then you will know who owns the land. |

casualobserver:okay I hear you By the time the C of O expires Me, you and sanwo olu wey sign am would be dead. Who was the first person Tinubu went to see when he "was declared winner" That "nyamuri flat head" Alex OTTI and Tinubu go way back, Especially during the banking days of Otti.... These guys are plotting and "chopping" while ronus in agege are crying Igbos must go lmaoooooo |

casualobserver:owww, you have modified the post We are long term tenants right ? No wahala nau Even if they "collect " the land back (which is highly improbable), one thing I am sure of is that they are not handing the lands to Ogbomosho immigrants into lagos. Worst worst it's the traditional ruler that will appropriate the land The land will be "collected" from igbos but ogbonosho immigrant will still be living in squalor in agege and alimosho. ![]() |

RodgersAkpafu:Imagine a Yoruba man going to NNewi to tell the ibo man which and which ibo man has legitimacy in ibo land. Even if you were not well brought up do you have any sense at all? An ogbomosho man is welcome anywhere in Yoruba land because he knows the culture and traditions and will not talk like you and cause irritation as a guest anywhere in Yoruba land. So are those from other parts of Nigeria who have of culture of respect. In all likely hood you will not know where a fellow Yoruba man is from in Yoruba land just by his behavior because our cultures are similar. Similarly peoples from other respectful tribes will not stand out because they come from a culture of respect and basic human decency. It is always the ibo man that stands out. I remember an ibo girl and I went to visit the mother of a colleague who was Ill at her home, there was a stench in the house likely the dying woman had wet herself and hadn’t been changed and the ibo girl brought out a small air freshener from her bag and started to spray it…..in someone else’s house. No Yoruba girl or girl from any other tribe in Nigeria I know will do that! That’s why you people always stand out! I am done with you. If you like listen and adjust your behavior , if you like don’t. |

hammed71:In the USA President-elect Trump promises the largest deportation of illegal aliens in history. At the end of four years, the number of citizens...or people CLAIMING to be citizens, that were deported will no doubt be publicized by liberal media. No need for argument. Good Luck to Nigerians. |

IbeOkehie: ![]() I'm very sorry sir. You can take my posts as that of the rants a palm wine drinker in Egbema who always go over the recommended daily intake. Don't take it personal and serious including what I'm writing below. In 2018, I was reading literature on some horror customs and, books on cannibalism was one of them. I found out that some who were forced into cannibalism didn't do so out of custom or perverted desire but by sheer circumstance and a desire to survive. 2020: When I worked in the largest research park in the US, It was astounding to see how multi-disciplinary teams were collaborating. I was working with pharmacists/scientists on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, interactions and contraindications of a vaccine that was been developed. There's a lot of NDA/HIPAA/PHIPA/PIPEDA/GDPR regulations but I'll tell you for free that some decisions bothered on issues that will shock you. Just like how my post was nonsense to you. In an emergency, there's a suspension of enforcement of rules. Let me not go into what was happening in the hospitals but some doctors took their lives as a result of the traumatic experience, at least 3 that I know personally. I'm aware that physicians have a higher rate of suicide than the general population. Oga, I'm in Egbema receiving fresh air. I've contributed my bit to humanity, let me go and look for what I'll eat for dinner. ![]() The earlier you understand how the world works, the happier you'll be. All the best sir. ![]() |

IbeOkehie:Please note that what I said has no correlation with what the president elect will do about illegal immigration crises in US. That's a political issue and it's normal to make "political noise". I'll tell you for free that in 2028, we'll still be discussing illegal immigration in the US. ![]() |

casualobserver:I find your post very interesting. If you are so much against non-Yorubas moving to Lagos and the wider South West enmass, why not push for the division of Nigeria? That way, you can even sponsor a bill in the National Assembly in Oduduwa nation to explicitly bar Igbos. Malays in then Malaysia did it by expelling the Chinese majority Singapore. Both nations trade together today but have full control over their borders and general immigration. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singapore#History I would be amongst the first to support an independent Yoruba nation. Honestly, I believe the new country would do well, especially with the breadth of its diaspora. |

RodgersAkpafu:I was shocked by that statement. Well, it is part of the reason I am blind to racism and so-called discrimination against Nigerians outside Nigeria. Nigerians do worse to their fellow citizens. |

Gerrard59:. I am not against non Yorubas moving to Lagos or the SW. When you hear Yorubas increasingly speaking like this you know we are being pushed to the wall. Every other tribe is represented in Lagos, we welcome them, it is only one tribe that causes friction. I should also say it is not all of them after all we lived with them before. It is this new generation of immigrants that come in with their provincial mentality that are giving the rest of them a bad name. I am against those who come here and disrespect, insult and seek to impose their ways on us with impunity. Many of us have kept quiet because we are not bigots by nature, we are accommodating, that’s why people come here but at some point it’s human nature to defend your home, your traditions , your land! It’s happening all over the world. People have kept quiet while immigrants have run riot. Today I saw a video of a Muslim Arab immigrant preacher in Canada preaching against the practice of Christmas in Canada!!! How??! I have already said it. I don’t believe in battles for which there are no spoils. It is these same people that have checkmated us in this union. I am not for violence and Nigeria will only separate or restructure when the North realize it is in their interests. You need 2/3rds majority to amend the constitution. Even if the whole south and North central vote in favour, which I am sure they will, the NE and NW have 13 states for a reason! Like I also said if you see the uproar from the North over a tax bill you will get an idea of their response to any restructuring, referendum or secession. So we wait until it is in the interest of the North or the country self implodes at which point everybody will bear his fathers name! |

studyless123:There will ALWAYS be illegal immigration in most countries, including Nigeria. Illegal migration like prostitution and narcotics trafficking can't be eliminated, what matters is the level of tolerance by government and society. In the USA, recent data for the first half of this year indicates illegal crossing of the southern border has decreased by 80% as President Biden and VP Harris sought to address the issue due to electoral pressure. That's a REAL EFFECT and hopefully President Trump will do more. Good Luck to Nigeria. |

Gerrard59:antecedents show that the bolded is a pipe dream and a mirage If Nigeria cannot resolve its issues when it is still enjoying economies of scale being a Nigeria, the constituent units (all of them) will be shit holes when they separate Is ascension to the WTO a joke to u? lol Ask China wetin dem face before they entered in 2001 Or Tuvalu that joined last year You know what and what you have to give up before you join ? Instead of Nigerians to find a way to work together under any guise, confederalism or whatever, each side, delusional in their own way, Yoruba and Igbo alike, think they will go out there and "succeed on their own" The EU is still trying to see how to remain a bloc so they keep negotiating trade deals and protect their interests as a unit the Pacific countries of Asia are trying to do same with TPP and ASEAN, trying to find common ground to work together, despite being big counties already. Quebec know that if they quit Canada, they will suffer what every company suffer when they are "spun off" Same with Scotland anyways lemme stop speaking grammar it's of no use |
