Considering how basic foods have become so expensive for the common man, I was wondering if people can still afford to eat their favourite meals, or do they just make do with what they can afford/what is available.

It is unfortunate how bad the situation has gotten.

I don't think things have ever been this difficult for the common man, to the point of not being able to afford common foods.

With that stated, what are your favourite meals, and can you still afford to eat them?

My favorite food is egusi soup with either iyan or fufu

I can't afford to cook them on my own but I can afford to buy them in canteen

This festive period ipray Allah gives strength to the needy and provide them with what to place in the stomach when necessary and give em the strength to endure and persevere

Well, right from time my favorite food has always been cheap so beans and dodo no fit make man bankrupt. Thank God for the fact say e no require chicken or any meat for cooking

i eat all my favorite dishes, my body no go work finish i go dey stave am, thanks to my wonderful wife though

Personally these days, I eat 001 sometimes. I believe that the government is working tirelessly towards improving livelihood of the citizens. The impact will be felt gradually

Yes, I can still afford to eat what I desire always. I work with NGO as Young Talent below age 30 in which Cost of Living Adjustment is reviewed on our Salary as Dollar rate increases even though the review may not be equivalent to the inflation rate. Nevertheless, we still thank God as it's better than nothing. Just remaining for me to get a suitable and comfortable lady as spouse.

I understand what Nigerians are passing through, may God settle us & open more doors of better opportunities for us.
