[DRUG DEALING] Two Nigerian nationals namely, Ikemukwu Benjermin Ezirim (39) and Christian Valentine Uchenna (37) were arrested, following actioned intelligence relating to suspects dealing in drugs.

They attempted to dispose some of the drugs by flushing them down the toilet.

Further investigation revealed additional drugs concealed within the vehicle's body and tyres.

Drugs seized valued at an estimated R1,2 million

It was also determined that the two suspects lacked valid documentation, resulting in their arrest, charging, and detention.

They made their first court appearance at the Volkrust Magistrates Court on yesterday, and the matter was postponed to 9 December 2024 for a formal bail application. The accused remains in custody.
