Good Afternoon. Please I need help!

I have been working for my Canadian employer remotely since August this year, they like my work and would like me to come over. My team is made up of colleagues from different parts of the world and my boss helped them by providing an positive LMIA and he wants to do this for me as well if i want to.
He can get me a positive LMIA as early as February and he is ok with me working remotely (like i said, he just wants to help). This company is in New Brunswick and I have a younger brother in Ontario i can stay with. My goal is to get a PR eventually, i understand that i will get a work visa upon entry, can i stay briefly and come back to Nigeria in a month or less since i can work from anywhere? I don't really want to leave Nigeria as my salary can go very far here. (Cost of living is minute here compared to Ontario and i save more)

I need advise from anyone who has gotten a positive LMIA here please, what are the next steps, how can i go about this?

Personally, I think only domicilliary care workers can't use the 33102 code, because they work in client's homes and not any care settings ( I might be wrong ). Also, your job title doesn't really matter, it's the job descriptions.
Anyone using the 33102 should make sure their job duty is atleast 70% of the duties listed on the code.

I started this journey a long time ago and my story is long. I'll tell my story later to encourage others.
One thing I can say is my application was far from perfect. Firstly, My gift deed wasn't notarized. Secondly, my former employer refused to give me reference. My colleague wrote a reference for me and it was also not notarized, only her ID card was attached.

I really want to thank @GraciousWord for answering my questions and above all I give God all the praise.

Hi, good evening . I already got ITA and I've been arranging my documents. My employer has issued me a reference letter explaining my roles and all but i have the following the issues:
1. My workplace has no online presence. Also, the company was registered with CAC in 2012 but my boss has not been paying the yearly CAC fee so the company is not available on CAC public search. What can I do?
2. I am being paid with cash, so I will be using a gift deed, do I need to upload my 6 months statement of account or just letter from the bank, transfer slip of the gift deed and letter of gift?
3. Do I need to notarized the letter of gift deed?

Thank you for your response. I mean I was being paid in cash at my workplace but my dad is the one who wants to give me the POF so I will need a gift deed. So, do I still need to upload my 6 months statement of account alongside the gift deed from my dad?

I did my medicals in October and my profile has been updated that I passed the medicals and also biometrics has been done but they’re still reviewing.

I haven’t received any update since then so I’m wondering how long it takes.

What u need is a reference letter from ur bank, stating ur average balance for the past 6month, stating that you owe the bank no debt, stating ur account number and account name and when the account was opened, the reference letter must have a letterhead from the bank that shows the bank name, address and contact number and finally it must have ur balance


It is when they ask u to prove how u came about ur pof that u start uploading ur gift deed and statement of acc. So if u were not probed, no need to upload ur gift deed cert and statement of acc. No complicate ur case

It rarely takes long these days, Please check your mail inside out, use Tracker and raise Webform for inquiries, Mine was sent like 5 days after passing medical but I missed the Ready for Visa mail for weeks.

Something to note for intending applicants (@horlorbah) to avoid needless delays in your processing, if you got a gift deed for your POF kindly attach the gift deed(notarized if possible) with your bank reference letter.

Mr A can’t state in his work reference letter that he earns #1.5m per annum for 3 years and suddenly has POF of #20m without stating the source. It subjects your application to needless scrutiny. If you used gift deed, simply truthfully state that you did. Provide the gift deed+evidence of transfer+proof of relationship to donor, if anything it makes POF one less thing the officer has to scrutinize.

Recently officers have been rejecting PR applications. In this era of changing immigration policies, there’s no advantage in holding off a document that helps your application IMO.

So is ur work reference letter enough to prove u did a job or u must include ur work id card and picture of ur work premises?
I get ur point but ircc wont reject for not including gift deed or statement if u used bank reference, the most they will do is send adr for paystub, pay slip or bank statement then u can now be uploading ur gift deed and all. But if they dont ask why asking for trouble?

ah! This is not a good advice o. IRCC has been known to reject applications outrightly for not uploading enough supporting documents to show proof of work experience even though only reference letter was required and it was provided. Please add enough supporting documents if you can and don’t bank on the fact that they’ll send adr. Gift deed is very important if you know your salary cannot support your pof

Hi everyone!!! Please I got Ontario provincial nomination on 21st of November 2024, accepted the nomination on my EE profile, My EE profile then expired on 1st of Dec. 2024. How do I notify Ontario to transfer my nomination to the New profile.

lol. Ok na. Goan check immitracker, you’ll see several cases of such. Just don’t mislead people. Imagine saying people should wait for ADR before providing gift deed and statement of account 🙄

I didn’t think it would take this long, it just keeps saying they’re still reviewing so it’s more like I just have to wait till there’s an update.
