Pastor Olumide Is Right! Teaching Of One-Sided Submission In Marriage Is Antichrist

I came across a recent front-page thread about Pastor Olumide's message on men also submitting themselves to their wives, and I wasn't surprised to see the bashing he received from many so-called Christians, even though he spoke nothing but the hard Truth.

What they fail to realize is that the teaching of a totally one-sided submission in marriage is antichrist.

The basis of the teaching alone is already flawed in itself, because Christ being perfect and inerrant, cannot be compared (on that basis) to any other husband in history, so using the church's total submission to Christ as the head of the church, as the basis to say that wives should also submit to their husbands in everything because he is their head, is totally baseless and erroneous.

It's Christ's perfect and inerrant nature that makes the church's total submission to Christ wise and sensible, because Christ will always leads the church in the right path.

However that cannot be said of any other husband in history, including some of the greatest prophets and true men of God that ever lived.

Even one of them who God Himself called "My friend", called Abraham, was once told by God to listen to his wife on one particular occasion that his wife was getting it right and following God's path while Abraham wasn't. Genesis 21:12

Another of them, Smith Wigglesworth, one of the greatest men of God in recent history, needed his wife to remain steadfast in God, when he himself had backslided and even tried everything he could to make her do follow suit, including stopping her from going to church and making her sleep outside on the bare floor throughout the night when she disobeyed him and still went regardless, after she returned from church.

But in spite of all he did to discourage and stop his wife, she boldly looked at him in the face and said, "Jesus is my Lord, but you are my husband"!

That unshakable resolve in Christ of Smith Wigglesworth's wife inspired her husband to have a rethink and eventually retrace his steps back to Christ, so after he was fully restored, he couldn't forget the great thing his wife had done for him when he had lost his way. He remained eternally grateful to her even after her death.

But just imagine that his wife had followed that antichrist teaching that said she should submit to her husband in everything even when he had backslidden and was leading her astray?

We most likely won't have a Smith Wigglesworth among the generals of the faith in recent history.

That is to illustrate how misleading that teaching about one-sided submission in marriage is, because these are just a few examples of some of the greatest and most anointed men of God in history who still missed the mark at some point and had to submit to their wives and follow their direction in order to get it right, how much more the average man whose heart is desperately wicked?

But that's what all those so-called Christians who blindly embrace this glaringly lopsided teaching regardless don't seem to understand.

They probably think we're talking about angels here, not men who could be real devils in human form, and sometimes want to make their wives do some of the most absurd and abominable things that could be possibly imagined. I can't even mention some here.

Those are the kinds of husbands they really want Christian and godly wives to submit themselves to in everything as the church submits to Christ?

That's why this teaching about one-sided submission in marriage is so erroneous and highly misleading.

Submission in marriage ought to be to one another based on who among the husband and wife was following Christ on any particular occasion.

If both the husband and his wife were following the right path which aligns with Christ, then they should both submit themselves to each other even as they submit to Christ.

If there ought to be any one-sided submission in marriage as far as Christianity was concerned, it should be that of both the husband and wife submitting to Christ just as the church submits to Christ.

That's the way God made marriage to be in the beginning, because Christ is the Word of God that was in the beginning that later became flesh. John 1:1-3, 14.

Christ is the Word of God, that God gave the world's first husband and wife to obey in the beginning, because God wanted both the husband and wife to be an extension of His kingdom on Earth. Genesis 2:16-17.

It was this basis God wanted them via marriage to be fruitful, multiply, replenish and rule over the Earth and everything in it.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Therefore God's original plan for marriage, was for both the husband and wife to rule over the Earth in total submission to Christ.

Hence why I believe Christ ought to be the head of every Christian marriage, and not the husband as is being taught in most churches, because the only time God mentioned such a thing in the beginning was only after the husband and wife left their submission to the Word of God that Christ is and submitted themselves to the devil.

Genesis 3:16 (KJV)

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

So this pronouncement to the wife that she shall be in total submission to her husband and for him to be her head or rule over her was actually a punishment or curse God placed upon the wife (woman) because of her sin, the curse which Christ has since broken upon His death, therefore it's antichrist for anyone to continue to subject the Christian woman or wife to the curses or punishment of sin that Christ had come and redeemed her from.

Christ came to restore marriage back to the the way God made it to be in the beginning, when both the husband and wife lived in total submission to Christ, The Word Of God which was in the beginning.

Nonsense teaching from hell


Men are not required to be submissive in marriage; that is the duty of women. Men, on the other hand, are mandated to love their wives. In fact, submission is expected of women before love is even considered.

What a terrifying reality, Christ pointed out and this is what we are seeing currently within churches today.
Pastors are now diluting and mixing the Gospel with their carnally inspired thoughts and ideas, and religious fools are sheepishly following and gulping down everything without validation and scrutiny.
If one useless prophet on Facebook called Emmanuel Okose can say that Christians need side chicks, what further evidence do we need to know that Lucifer is controlling many churches from proxy and direct control mode.
Do we still need to be told that Lucifer posseses tremendous power over the earth and its religious and political systems?
