What a parade of ILLITERATE posts by geopolitical neophytes with internet access. Somehow these NITWITS think Nigeria is on the level of Burkina Faso and Niger Republic. Easy prey for LITTLE France. LET ME TELL YOU MORO.NS WHO DON'T KNOW YOUR OWN COUNTRY. NIGERIA ACCOUNTS FOR 75% OF THE ENTIRE 14-NATION WEST AFRICAN GDP. NIGERIA IS A BIG, POWERFUL COUNTRY, WITH A LARGE MILITARY. THERE IS NO DEAL FRANCE CAN SIGN WITH NIGERIA THAT WILL HAVE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA CEDE HER RESOURCES TO FRANCE, UNDER ANY GUISE OR CIRCUMSTANCE. NIGERIA IS NOT BURKINA FASO. FRANCE CANNOT DARE TRY ANY EXPLOITATIVE NONSENSE WITH NIGERIA. |

Napata77:You are right but again, Nigeria has no good record of resource management. From oil sector all the down to infrastructural management. You better wake up from your delusion that Nigeria is any better. Of course Nigeria won't give up its resources just like that but mark today, let's see what becomes of this agreement... |

Excellent choice.... This is great in my opinion as long as France does not put stupid neocolonial clauses in the contract which Nigeria should be smart enough to detect. That is clauses like we will march into that country if our business interests are been threatened.... This historically has been their signature, but then..... What is good about this is using the cat to guard the mouse, if they were truly involved in northern extremism has suspected by some, they would be able to curb it, 2. If it's truly the Chinese allowing illegal miners and not protecting the communities, then they need a counter that can take action Nigeria has too many resources that has made it's people unsafe,Nigeria should come up with strategies to prevent illegal mining,as they are been mined anyway at the cost of the peace of local communities. |

Lastly you all should stop comparing Nigeria to Mali and burkinafaso, a state in Nigeria is more organized and has more self awareness than those people. Have you seen their so called generals dress up and speak in the public space...those are the people that make them call Africa backward.... Not Nigeria |

I may be wrong, but…. Shouldn’t monumental contracts such as these be subject to debate by the National Assembly to see if the local communities are in tandem with the arrangements? What would be the social, economic and environmental impacts of these deals? Does Mr Tinubu have his personal mineral mines/fields? France needs our resources and we go to them to avail it, all because of greed, all because they want to keep the masses blinded to the facts. No dignity, no integrity, no honor. And as we all can expect, Mr HiTech financier has his slice in the deal, can he please put national interest above personal interest for once. |

Other African countries are severing political and economic ties with France because of its exploitative nature Yet, Tinubu carry Nigeria give France on a platter of gold because he wants to form ' alliance' With a country that gives no shiiiit about us.. And he is ' the best brain with best brains to work with him'.. ![]() |

Heavens1stson:What I hate about these men is that they are tongue tied and tight lipped about happening in the Biafra era and June 12. The only ones that have spoken, some tried to distort the truth and it's irritating. They should really open up on what happened. It helps to know how head were thinking then |

How can these idiots in Nigeria's political seats not think about the future of the place they call their own. Entering into a deal like this, would further elongate and worsen things for the people to the advantage of these monstrous plunders of African resources we know as western powers. France, America and Britain are at the forefront of the disaster bedeviling African nations. There's urgent need to get them out of our lives forcefully. |
