To me it is a very good bill that's why senators are crying aggressively. Also useless people killing others to become governors will now understand that there's a lot to do for them to start sending their useless olosho to Europe on vacation

I don't really get their point. Is it because people who earn below 1m annually will be exempted from income tax, which the states are in charge? I don't really know the North's problems with the tax bills.

Their major problem is with tax administration. The North prohibits lots of things which the South embraces with reckless abandon but the North gets biggest shares from those things they prohibited than the South that embraced those things.

So, that aspect of the bill will now favour the South that embraces those things against the north that partially prohibited them.

It's more like the south is taking poison on behalf of the North while the north feeds fat at the detriment of the south

The allocation aspect of bill is good for northern Nigeria and the country,

It's simple they have to request every business sorts out their VAT collected and pay to them,they would need to have local offices in their states,that's more employment for their people.The north does not know that the biggest business earners in Nigeria actually have significant northern presence.

But they have no or few moribound physical offices in the north. This will bring jobs for northerners....

I'm summary the northern masses are fighting the wrong battle, back this up and watch your governors drag those businesses and their management back to the north.

Mr Ibrahim also alleged that Lagos stands to benefit more from the tax reform bills. “He is not fair and just to other Nigerian states who voted for him, especially the north, and we are still aware that Lagos was won by the Labour Party, not APC. Even in USA, there are states that are less viable like North Carolina, in Nigeria you'd say North.

It is everywhere in every country of the world. It's a norm. It doesn't mean the states should be scrapped either. They should just be more very prudent and minimalistic in spending.

They know the failure T-pain is not to be trusted. He has proven overtime to be a clueless hasty decision maker and a total failure and disaster as far as governance is concerned. He is making an almost irreparable mess.

The press aren't doing enough reporting on this tax issue and that's why some people are taking advantage of it and make it look anti common man.

By now, it would've been ripped apart for all to understand properly.
But all am seeing is same reporting without detailing what the reform bills actually entails.

We need to do more.
But it shall be well.
