Adewale1603:The Honda Civic 2008 offers fuel consumption ranging from 6.5 to 9.5 L/100km so Approx 600km trip should consume from 50 - 60 liters depending on the condition of the engine, load, tyre pressure and traffic. |

Choose to travel on a day the road is very much busy. It helps your mental sharpness and all round alertness as a driver. The police are also kept busy and very close to Christmas and during Christmas, the wave of insecurity attacks tends to slow down in the east. |

Nice one broh, but please be security conscious on that road, remain focus on scenes ahead of you before getting to the spot, it will help you figure out escape route in case of any eventuality. Wishing you a safe trip to and fro. Will be looking forward for your travel updates. tojahh: |

Nothing go do you. Check the car well by your trusted mecho (especially brakes, belt, and oils), make sure your tyers are fine and keep the extra tyer intact, get enough cash on you for the road, and pray (cover your car and yourself with the blood of Jesus Christ). |

It’s funny how certain moments stick with you forever. One of the best feelings I’ve ever had as a driver was the first time I drove my 190 Benz from Abuja to Kano years ago. After that journey my confidence on the wheels skyrocketed from 0 to 1,000! I also remember when I was gearing up for my first Abuja-to-Umuahia road trip.Friends and relatives flooded me with discouragement. They brought up every possible danger—trailers, bad roads, inexperience, insecurity, police extortion(this one really had me thinking cos I get hot temperature when it comes to intimidation). Only my mum didn't try to discourage me, she told everyone “You’re wasting your breath. I gave birth to him, and when he says he’ll do something, he’ll do it.” True to her words, I set off and arrived in Umuahia, safe and sound. That trip was a turning point. Since then, every car I’ve owned has tested its limits on Nigerian roads. That sense of danger shooting up your testosterone levels and the accomplishment? Priceless. |

Tips. 1 Leave Lagos Early (to be able to pass all those police on the highway especially Benin Police) 2. Have all your vehicle papers complete & upto date (have a medical report if your car is tinted thou Asaba & Benin Police might want to call it an offence but stand your ground) 3. Dress Responsibly; if possible have a lady in the car with you 4. Make sure your car is in Good condition especially the Engine and Legs. 5. Have some little denominations (#200, #100) to settle the our Police Men to avoid unnecessary delays.. And lastly, if for any reason you didn't arrive your destination before 5PM and journey still have few hours to arrive, Pls lodge in a closey hotel and continue the next morning. Everything I said is out of my personal experiences. Safe Journey |
