tojahh:Service your vehicle and test run it before embarking on the journey. Make sure your tires are in good condition, have a spare tire, Change your timing belt/chain, change your fan belt, ensure your breaks are very ok, wash your radiator,.. this is to prevent any avoidable breakdown on the road especially breakdown on bad spots. Travel on 22nd which is on a Sunday, you will have less hassle. Don't dare to travel on 23rd because Imo state have become volatile in recent times. 24th is on a Tuesday. It will likely be a busy day, with heavy traffic especially in the Asaba Head Bridge axis. It's a working day and there will be alot of road safety and VOI "idiots" on the road. So avoid 24th so as to reduce your hassle on the road. Safe trip as you travel |

I don't trust 4-cylinder vehicles for long-distance trips, particularly on Nigeria's bad roads. Unless the vehicle has a V6 engine or higher, I'm not comfortable embarking on the journey. |

Will be traveling too to Owerri but from Warri. using public transport though and it's just me alone. Would have loved to go on the 23rd because 22nd is my town union end of year party here in Warri. However, 23rd is not feasible for reasons we all know. So I will be making it on the 24th. Just in time for my family meeting in the evening. How's the civic? Rugged? I'm worried about the low ground clearance. Is that a problem in the village considering the eastern terrain..I'm considering getting it next year but the price is going off the roof. Considering honda accord 06 and that your type of civic. Safe trip by the way. |

Psoul:No my car is not CNG converted. The car is 50ltrs on full tank which translates to 51,250 (NNPC) but give and take, it's gonna be a full tank which might not amount to that because surely there should be some petrol in the car before fill up. I will make a stop at Edo State to refill lost gasoline to fill up again which surely will take me home. |
