So how did he conduct local government elections in those area?? How did LG chairman in those area emerged??

All of a sudden after FG stop paying LG allocation into him he realized some LG are empty ??

We need census desperately. Those 44 LG’s in Kano should also be investigated.


You see the governor are our major problems, they are in for there own selfish interests.

There are some LG in Borno State that has no people. Basically that LG should be scrapped and merged with another LG that has people.

Chapter 1 part 2 section 8

(4) A bill for a Law of House of Assembly for the purpose of boundary adjustment of any existing local government area shall only be passed if-

(a) a request for the boundary adjustment is supported by two-thirds majority of members (representing the area demanding and the area affected by the boundary adjustment) in each of the following, namely -

(i) the House of Assembly in respect of the area, and

(ii) the local government council in respect of the area, is received by the House of Assembly; and

(b) a proposal for the boundary adjustment is approved by a simple majority of members of the House of Assembly in respect of the area concerned.

There's already a constitutional process to get that done. He doesn't need permission from us to get that sorted out. He's just running hid mouth.

This would not fly. No state Assembly would admit that they do not have people in a LG. This theory.

Where did you read they have admit anything?They can adjust the borders for any reason they please.
