How Come The Military Dont Extort Motorists? by richmond500(op):
It's always the police.
There are lots of army roadblocks but they hardly extort from motorists.

It is easier to see an army man telling motorists to cut grass or pick dirts than extorting money from them. But the police will always look for a way to collect ur money.

LOL in which country?
Is it because most of them don't collect it the way the police do, most of the time the driver has to go down or send the conductor to give it to them in their tent, isn't that still extortion?

I didn't say they don't collect, I mean they do not collect like the police.
98% of police checkpoints in the country is a tax office

You are obviously a novice.

Army collect via proxy. A man pretending to be selling bottled water collects for them.

Travel and see.

They do.
Majorly from truck drivers.

They left okadas for police while they focus on trucks and tanker drivers. And they are so brutal they can kill because of this.

Military is the worst these days. I don't know about where you but here in the east, they have a civilian who collects money from motorists on their behalf
