Hello NairaLanders, What does Nigeria law say about property sharing among couple during or after divorce. For instance, does the 50-50 sharing formula automatically apply to every divorce. What if the man had already acquired like 80% of the wealth before he married the woman? Also, will the woman have to provide evidence that she was part of the wealth or property acquisition before a certain percentage can be allocated to her? |
