Ended up saying nothing. How's this one different from every other forfeitures you gleefully publish the owners? This is similar to the accusation of the obscure rule in showing or covering the faces of arrested "criminals" |

All these grammars and long episodes would've been saved if the corrupt commission had named the person or persons involved in such wickedness to humanity. Ordinary to say it's "Mr James Okolo Yemi Abubarka" and spare us this unnecessary stories. Rubbish and ingredients! |

Thought I read somewhere on X that it belongs to Emefiele. I wonder what EFCC are trying to hide here. Could it be some more powerful APC Politicians in involved too? Hence, they started acting like they are now law abiding. Meanwhile, if na yahoo boy, dem for don hancup am with photographs and name for the whole Nigerians to see. Sweep it under the carpet like you're been known for as usual. You will sure bite more than you can chew someday. |

“It is shocking that the activist is not concerned about the systemic lassitude and unhelpful permissiveness that allowed such a monstrous corrupt act in the first instance.- EFCC While the above is true, l find it very hard to believe that through-out the process of the Court proceedings, the EFCC was unable to identify the owner! Even if the "Company" denied ownership, there are tons of ways of tracing the owner, if the EFCC was really interested or perhaps, the EFCC is doing a "Cover-Up", as alleged? - Did the Land not have a C-of-O? Whose name is on it? - If it is Uncompleted, who is paying the Workers? - If the Houses are Completed, who are the current Occupiers paying to or who did they pay to, to buy where they Occupy? - Who pays for the Utilities and Services (Water, Electricity, Waste, etc?) and from which Bank Account? EFCC must know that while Nigerians are concerned about the "systemic issues" that allowed this sort of monumental Corruption to happen, we put it to EFCC that they were also in Existence and this happened under their Nose or are they the "systemic Issue" or one of the systemic issues? And by playing "See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil", EFCC is portraying itself to be part of the Systemic issue! It is like saying "An Elephant just passed-by in front of me, but l did not see it! Habba, you Blind?!! This Nigeria sef don tire me, the level and weight of Corruption is just too heavy and embarrassing. |

I still don't like this forfeiture law ..You said you advertise on Newspaper, I didn't see it, because I can't remember when last I read Newspapers and what if the owner is dead, does he come from the grave to answer his Lordship. Moreover the FCT is there I want to believe their AGIS is still working, and the collected proper KYC data, so Journalist can go there and find who own the properties. All this wuruwuru EFCC is doing is not making sense , honest thieves wont invest their money in Nigeria again. |

This response by EFCC summarises their attitude. Proud , arrogant and supremacy and unaccountable. This is absolutely unacceptable. They should remember they are public servants, tax payers money pays them. They are doing their job and it should be done well. They are paid to do their job. Where is the detailed investigation when no names are being named. Protecting the criminal . Sahara reporter is right....EFCC needs purging. Shame on the EFCC boss. Police is better than a lawyer. I am disappointed after supporting a lawyer to be in charge. If it is yahoo boys or others you will see picture of them holding a big cheque detailing their crimes , names etc. Nigeria has a bigger problem than APC |

How can a 753 estate containing duplexes be anonymous Who paid for the land Who has been paying for the contractors Even if it’s a company that owned it surely it was registered with CAC and for for it to be registered it means human beings registered it Even another trick is to freeze the company accounts associated with the estate procurement of materials and watch whether the real owners will come out or not Too much corruption in Nigeria There is nothing like seizing an anonymous property If this estate had been completed and individual units being sold surely we would have known which account we would send to for buyers to buy Nigeria smh |
