I don't know where to post this.

My 9mobile SIM is permanently on Emergency calls only. I can't make nor receive calls. I've switched to 2G, 3G, WCDMA, still the same thing.

Are they dead or is my SIM defective?
Location is Lagos.


This makes no sense.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

9 mobile is working perfectly well Iam at sango ota ogun state

Same thing with mine
Always displaying emergency
Or no signal at all most of the time

If I sub, I'm always on my own most time,
Bcoz by the time the no signal starts, it can last for a month or half a month

They have even blocked my own line and I don't even care

same happened to me. I simply ported my sim to another network provider. Easy.

Same thing.

I even thought the sim was bad and replaced it but still the same issue.

Lol this is a funny question.

A colleague of mine kept complaining that her line was always unreachable. One day I now asked her what network it was and she said 9 mobile and I asked the same question

"is 9 mobile still operational?"

Network that dont even bother to do advert anymore

9Mobile's network quality has declined and had longer downtime compared to other networks due to a lack of investment in infrastructure.
Their response to outages either passive or active related is quite slow.
They also placed less priority to their hub sites.

Th network has improved significantly compared to earlier this year when we can go for weeks without network. I can now watch a 10-15 minute video on YouTube to without any buffering, something that was almost impossible back then. I hope the improvements are permanent and goes round the country
