Qatar for the other one in portharcourt I saw a video of some school students praising him with a song in the assembly ground and the fool-ish teachers acting like choir masters to those poor students, all in the name of licking the governors a$$.

I asked why, they said it was the burial day of a governor who recently died in office so they were giving him the last respect.

We inherited this from our colonial masters. Though its no more popular. All these indomie generations will see it as punishment and stress. In those days,especially during independent celebrations or the visit of governors,it became a must that we line up on the road to catch a glimpse of Mr president or governor. We were happy doing that.

I have had my own fair share, I remember the first time then president Obasanjo came to Warri, the idiot principal and teachers made us come to the express to wave at politicians who doesn't care weather we live or die, we waited for hours under very hot sun from morning till over 3pm, only for the idiotic convoy to divert and went through another road less than a kilometer from where we were lined up for hours 😂😂😂😂😂.
